Airborne Speedway's Zack Meyers (27) slides in head first at the plate and scores as the Athletics catcher loses the ball. The Airborne Speedway Padres would defeat Fourth Ward Athletics 10-2. The game would start at Saranac High School where they played the top of the first. Then the rains would come and cause an hour-long rain delay. Where the field was determined to be unplayable so the game was moved to South Acres in Plattsburgh. The game would remain close through the opening six with Padres getting singles runs in the 2nd, 4th and 5th and Athletics would get one in the third to make it 3-1. Then in late innings, the Padres bats would come alive getting 7 runs in the last three innings with the big blow coming from Joey Painter's three-run homer. With the win Padres advance to Semi-Finals where they will play either the Expos or Miners.

The big pair of workhorses are taking the 6,200lb sled out the end for a full pull. The Lyon Mountain American Legion would host the second annual Howie Frenyea Memorial. There would great horse pulling action throughout the day. There would be 15 teams of miniature pony's along with 6 teams of a big workhorse. The team would come from across new york, Vermont, and New Hampshire to compete for trophies. Gallery

Malone's Austin LaMay (1) makes solid connect on the elevated fastball for the base hit. Malone would win the game via forfeit due to Norwood lacking players. The two teams would play the game anyways though. In that game, Brian Dufrane would go the distance for Malone while striking out six. With the win, Malone goes to 5-3 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Kevin Gibson (44) turns and makes the beautiful one-handed catch and takes it all the way to the one. The Plattsburgh North Stars would defeat the Southern Vermont Storm 34-19. The Plattsburgh North Stars would start there season with many new faces and old faces in new places. As the game started you could see the changes were affecting their execution with many penalities. Although they would get it figured out and start to click. The first score of the game would come on a beautiful catch by Kevin Gibson that he would take the endzone for the lead early. Harry Rascoe would have to more touchdown passes on the day in the win. Fourth Ward's Jake Tolosky (17) picks the grounder and tags first for the out. The Lyon Mountain Miners would defeat the Fourth Ward Athletics 4-2. The Miners would jump out to the early 2-0 lead in the first. That is where the score would remain until the Athletics would tie up at two in the fifth. Then in the sixth Kris Chase would get the game-winning hit. With the Miners finish the season at 10-5 and get a share of the regular season crown while the Athletics finish at 5-10. Gallery
