It would be the first round of the New York State Class B Football championships and would feature the Beekmantown Eagles and the Potsdam Sandstoners. It would take til near the end of the first quarter when we would get the first score of the game from Potsdam's Will Varney on a 1 yard run with a 1:40 left and make it 6-0. The Sandstoners would strike again 11 seconds later after they recovered the onside kick and scoring on a 40 yard run to make it 12-0. Then with 1:40 left in the first half the Sandstoners Will Varney would score again on a 2 yard run to make it 18-0 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Eagles would still not have answer for the Sandstoners. In the third quarter the Sandstoners would score two more times in the third quarter one by Will Varney and Bobby Voss for the 30-0 Sandstoners win. In the winning effort the Potsdam Sandstoners go to 8-2 and advance to the quarterfinals while the Beekmantown Eagles season comes to an end 6-3. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Kai Britz (11) with the long distance shot for the goal. The Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in Section X Boys Lacrosse action. The game would not start of the greatest for the Hornets as they would be down 3-0 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Hornets would start there comeback getting a couple goals to make it 3-2 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Hornets would tie it up at three but it would be short live as the Sandstoners would get two and take a 5-3 lead into the fourth. In the fourth the Hornets would have no as the Sandstoners win the quarter 2-1 and Hornets would fall 7-4. In the losing effort Carson Carpenter would lead the way with a couple goals and the Hornets would fall to 2-11 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Emily Ashlaw (14) with the spike towards the center of the court the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Potsdam Sandstones in Northern Adirondack Conference volleyball action. The Chateaugay would continue there perfect season with a straight-set victory over the Potsdam Sandstoners with the 25-10, 25-14, and 25-21 victory. Saranac's Dylan Clay (21) charges down the lane hard and draws the contact on the hoop. It would be the fourth game of the day in the Section 7/10 Challenge featuring the Saranac Chiefs and Potsdam Sandstoners. The Chiefs would be cruising in the first half as they would have a 35-25 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be scramble as Potsdam would not give up easy and actually win the half 42-34. Although it would not be enough as the Chiefs hold on for the 69-65 victory and go to 5-9 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Kendra King (34) with a diving save along the sidelines to keep the point alive. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in Section X action. It would be a battle of the two remaining unbeaten teams and it would need all five games to have a winner. The Sandstoners would get the first 25-18. Then in second the Bulldogs would tie it back up with the 25-20 win. The Sandstoners would get the third game 25-16. Then the Bulldogs would put it together in the fourth and fifth with 25-15 and 25-9 wins to win the match. With the win, the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 6-0. Gallery
