It would be SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse from the Plattsburgh State Cardinals as the Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in their final home game of the season. The Cardinals would get the game's opening goal just 1:13 into the game on the Cynthia Barnosky goal, but the Lakers would answer the game with four unanswered goals to end the first quarter to make it a 4-1 game. In the second quarter, the Lakers would take control of the game with a 5-2 quarter to take the 9-3 lead at the half on a pair of Cardinals goals from Caitlin Nash and Erica Dickinson. When the teams would return for the second half the Lakers would shut down the Cardinals with a 9-0 half for the 18-3 Lakers win. With the Cardinals losing they fall to 3-11 on the season with one game left on the season as they will travel to Potsdam to take on the Bears. Gallery

It would be SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse from the Plattsburgh State Cardinals as the Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in their final home game of the season. Plattsburgh State's Cynthia Barnosky (20) takes it around the edge of the defender and crashes the net for the shot as part of her five-goal afternoon. The game would start well for the home Cadets as they would get off to the 4-2 lead after the first quarter on goals from Cynthia Barnosky (twice), Caitlin Nash, and Maddy Garcia. In the second quarter, the Cardinals would stay on top with the low-scoring affair with the 3-2 quarter on goals from Cynthia Barnosky (third and fourth), and Caitlin Nash with her second of the game as the Cardinals would have the 7-4 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter the game would stay tight. Still, the Cadets would cut into the lead with a 4-3 quarter scoring for the Cardinals would be Erica Dickinson, Cynthia Barnosjy (fifth), and Caitlin (third) as it would be 10-8 Cardinals as they entered the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Cadets would come out charging and take control of the game with a 6-2 quarter scoring for the Cardinals Lillian Gilroy and Janey Adans as the Cadets would get the come-from-behind victory at 14-12. In the losing effort for the Cardinals Jess Loch would still make 12 saves as they go to 1--3 on the season and will be back on the field Saturday as they take on Utica. As for the Norwich Cadets Bailey Manning Ingala would make 12 saves for the win and go to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be a matchup between the SUNYAC and the Great Northeast Conference from the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse Complex as the Plattsburgh Cardinals would host the Norwich Cadets. The game would start well for the home Cadets as they would get off to the 4-2 lead after the first quarter on goals from Cynthia Barnosky (twice), Caitlin Nash, and Maddy Garcia. In the second quarter the Cardinals would do a little better on defense as they would hold the Golden Knights to four goals but their offense wouldnt have much as they would only get one for a 4-1 quarter getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Janey Adams while the Knights would have Julia Larnaway (third of the game), Mckenna Cassin (third of the game), Madelynn Barnum (second of the game) and Gabby Cranfield (second of the game). When the teams returnd for the third quarter the Cardinals looked way better but they wouldn't be able to get over the hump of the Golden Knights as It would be a 4-4 quarter to make it a 16-7 game with Caitlin Nash, Fiona Fitzgerald and Cynthia Barnosky (second of the game) while Hailey Millington, Brooklynne Perrigo, Julia Larnaway (a fourth of the game) and Makenna Cassin (third of the game). In the fourth quarter the teams would just finish out the game and the Knights would have a 2-1 quarter getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Cynthia Barnosky (third of the game) while Madelynn Barnum would get her third and fourth of the game as the Golden Knights would get the 18-8 victory. In the winning effort, the Golden Knights go to 2-0 on the season and the goalies combine for 3 saves on the afternoon. The Cardinals would not be a perfect host though and have a 5-2 lead after the first quarter on goals from Cynthia Barnosky (twice), Fiona Fitzgerald, Erica Dickinson, and Maddy Garcia. In the second quarter, the Cardinals would stay hot with a 4-1 quarter with scores from Caitlin Nash, Abby Guasconi (twice), and Nicole Resnick for the 9-3 lead after the first half. When the Cardinals would return for the second half and third period the offense and defense would be there as they would have a 6-0 quarter thanks to goals from Maddy Garcia, Cynthia Barnosky, Fiona Fitzgerald (twice), McKenzie Francis Chubb, and Erica Dickinson for the 15-3 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would calm down and have a 3-2 quarter on goals from McKenzie Francis Chubb, Maddy Garcia, and Cynthia Banosky as the Cardinals would get their season started right with an 18-5 win. The Plattsburgh State Women's Lacrosse team would be back in action at the Field House as they would host #19 in the country and fellow SUNYAC foe the Cortland State Red Dragons as they would try to end their four-game losing streak. Although the game would not start off the greatest for the Cardinals as they would behind 4-1 after the first quarter getting the lone goal for the Cardinals would be Lindsay Guzzetta while Hopsicker, Janis Hoffner, and Beck would score for the Red Dragons. In the second quarter, the Red Dragons would show their strength as they would score six times for the 6-1 quarter and the Cardinals would trail 10-2 at the intermission as Kate Kennedy would get the lone Cardinal goal of the quarter. When the teams returned for the second half it would be more of the same as the Red Dragons would have another 6-1 quarter and take a 16-3 lead into the 4th quarter as Lindsay Guzzetta would get her second goal of the game. In the 4th quarter with the game no longer in doubt, the teams would play it out for the Red Dragons 3-2 scoring for the Cardinals would be Lindsay Guzzetta (a third of the game) and Cynthia Barnosky. With that, the Cardinals would lose 19-5 and fall to 5-6 on the season as their next game will be this weekend as they travel to Oswego and take on the Lakers in SUNYAC action. Gallery
