Plattsburgh State's Gavin Yates (12) with the toe drag around the down defender for the shot on net. The #8 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC play. The Cardinals would get the 1-0 lead 6 minutes into the first with an Antoine Desyoners goal. The Red Dragons would tie the game on the Nico Gonazlez at the 12-minute mark. The Cardinals would regain there lead to 2-1 with 5 minutes left in the first on a power-play goal by Cole Stallard. The Red Dragons would tie the game up at 2 on Darren McCormick's goal at the 11-minute mark. In the final four minutes of the second period, Pat Egan gives the Cardinals the 3-2 lead on the power play. Then five minutes into the third period Kyle Hall scores for the Cardinals to give them a 4-2 lead. In the closing seconds of the game, the Red Dragons would get a goal as the Cardinals secure the 4-3 lead. In the winning effort, Brady Rouleau would make 24 saves on the night as the Cardinals go to 3-1 on the season. Gallery

The Lakers would take the 1-0 lead in the second inning. Although the Cardinals would come back in the bottom of the third inning and put up a 6 spot to take a 6-1 lead. Although it would be the downhill from there for the Cardinals as the Lakers would outscore them 15-0 over the remaining 6 innings as the Cardinals would fall 16-6 and fall to 3-20 on the season, Although leading the way for the Cardinals would be TJ Montalbano as he would go 2-5 with an RBI. Plattsburgh State's Melissa Sheeran (26) slides the puck by on the far side for the goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Utica Pioneers in the 2016 ECAC West Championship. The Cardinals would show their muscle early in the contest scoring four goals in the first period from Karen Hudson, Kayla Meneghain, Jordan Lipson and Courtney Moriarty for the 4-0 lead. In the second period, the Cardinals would add two more goals from Melissa Sheeran, and Melissa Ames for 6-0 lead. In the third period, the Cardinals would put the icing on the cake with two more goals Courtney Moriarty (second of the night), and Jordan Lipson (second of the night) to secure the 8-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals would be crowned the 2016 ECAC West Champions and Camille Leonard would stop all 17 shots in the shutout victory as they head to the NCAA Tournament. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Brady O'Quinn (27) crashes into the net hard and takes out the Oswego State goalie. It would be the classic rivalry this time in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals as the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Oswego State Lakers. It would take until the 8:15 mark of the second period until we would have a goal from Jesse Neher to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Lakers would get two goals in the remainder of the period to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead after two periods. The Cardinals Nick Belger would tie the game up at 2 at the 7:17 mark of the third period on a power play goal. Then the Cardinals would score again at the 10:09 mark from Dillan Fox to regain the lead at 3-2. Although the Lakers would get a late period goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. In that overtime Michael Radisa would score for the Cardinals at the 10:09 mark and give them the 4-3 win and send them to the SUNYAC Championship against Geneseo State. The Oswego State Lakers would take a slim 39-37 lead into the intermission. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and the Lakers would win the half 42-37. It would give the #4 Oswego State Lakers the upset victory over the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals. In the losing effort, Kyle Richardson would lead the way with 25 points. As it would set up the Cortland State Red Dragons and the Oswego State Lakers in the SUNYAC finals and leaving the Plattsburgh State Cardinals to leave their faith in the hands of the committee if they are to go the NCAA Tournament. Plattsburgh State's Kyle Hall (10) cuts in front of the net and puts over the goalie's shoulder for the opening goal. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host arch-rival Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals take the lead early at 4:33 of the first period on Kyle Hall's goal to make it 1-0. Oswego would answer right back thirty seconds later to tie the game up at one. Then in the last five minutes of the first, the Cardinals would retake the lead at 2-1 on Conor Gorman's goal. Oswego would come back and tie the game up back up at 11:54 of the second. The game would remain there till the early minutes of the third when Oswego would take the 3-2 lead. The game would stay there till about two minutes left in the game when the Cardinals would tie it up on a 4x4 goal by Anthony Calabrese. The game would go to overtime where Connor Gorman would get the game-winner with 2 seconds left to secure the 4-3 victory. In the winning effort, Spencer Finney would make 27 saves on the night as the Cardinals go to 17-3-1 on the season. Gallery.

The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in ECAC West action at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals would take the early lead at 5:29 of the first period on the Melissa Ames goal to make it 1-0. Them at the 13:59 mark of the first period Giovanna Sense would put it top shelf to make it 2-0 Cardinals. The game would remain there all the way til 1:42 of the third period Kayla Meneghin would score on the wrap-around goal to make it 3-0. Then at 15:54 of the third period, Kayla Meneghin would get her second of the night to secure the 4-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 20 saves in shutout victory as the Cardinals go to 14-0-2 on the season. Gallery
