The Plattsburgh Horners pose for a team photo as they celeberate there first win in program history. The Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Milton (VT) Yellow Jackets in a non league tilt. The game would be tight for the first quarter with the teams trading goals and be tied at 1-1 scoring for the Hornets was Corbin Murray. In the second quarter the Hornets would start to pull away as they would score three times coming from Ethan Vaughn, Michael Graves and Hunter Laravia. In the second half it would be a very low scoring with the only goal coming from Plattsburgh's Michael Graves to secure the 5-1 win. In the winning effort Michael Graves scored twice as the Plattsburgh Hornets would win and get there first win in program history and go to 1-1 on the season. Plattsburgh's Ethan Vaughan (27) with the shot on net for the first ever goal for Plattsburgh would score there first ever goal as a member of section X lacrosse. In there first ever game as a member of Section X the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Massena Red Raiders. It would be a very low scoring game. The Red Raiders would strike in the second quarter with 2 goals and take the 2-0 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half there would be no change as the Red Raiders would get one more to take the 3-0 lead in the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Red Raiders qould get another and take a 4-0 lead. Then in the final couple minutes of the game it would happen the Hornets would get there first goal as a section x member from Ethan Vaughan to make it a 4-1 goal. Although the Hornets would as they would add one more with 17 seconds left in the game from Corbyn Birch. Although it would not be enough as the Plattsburgh Hornets would fall 4-2 and start there season at 0-1. Although there will be little rest for the Hornets as they are right back it tomorrow with a game against the Milton (VT) Yellow Jackets. Gallery

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the New England College Pilgrams in front of 150 fans in non conference action. The Cardinals would set the tone early in the game with four unanswered goals in the first quarter with two coming from Jack Carroll for the 4-0 lead. In the second quarter the Cardinals would extend there lead with a 4-1 quarter with two goals from Jack Mullen for the 8-1 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Cardinals would outscore them 3-1 and have a 11-1 lead headed into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Pilgrams would actual win the quarter 4-2 as the Cardinals had backed off the throttle and the Cardinals would hold on for the 13-5 victory. Engineers in nonleague action the first quarter the Engineers would get the only two goals for the 2-0 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the offense would come alive for the Cardinals as they would score four goals from Billy Moller (2), Kevin Litchauer and Ryan Hubbard. Although the Engineers would also get two goals and the game would be tied at 4-4 as the teams went into halftime. In the third quarter, the Cardinals would get outscored 3-1 to make it 7-5 with the lone Cardinal goal coming from Brad Johnston. In the fourth quarter, the Engineers would put the icing on the cake as they outscored the Cardinals 4-1 with the Cardinal goal coming from Ryan Hubbard as the Cardinals fall 11-6. The Cardinals would cruise out to a 6-1 lead after the first period on goals from Austin Belz (2), Ryan Hubbard, Ryan Callahan (2), and Jake Carroll. In the second quarter, the Panthers would put up more of a fight although the Cardinals would win the quarter 4-3 on goals from Mike Gay, Jake Carroll, Joe Mineau, and Ryan Callahan to have a 10-4 lead at the break. When the teams came out for the second half the Cardinals would show no let-up as they win the quarter 4-0 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard, and Kevin Litchauer for the 14-4 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would stay in control winning quarter 4-2 on goals from Billy Moller, Christopher Weider, Austin Belz, and Matt Gonzales to secure the 18-6 win. In the winning effort, Austin Graham would make 6 saves although leading the way for the Cardinals would be Ryan Callahan with 5 goals and 3 assist for an 8 point day as the Cardinals go to 5-2 on the season. The Cardinals would jump out to the 5-3 lead after the first quarter on goals from Billy Moller, Ryan Callahan (2), Jake Carroll, and Ryan Hubbard. In the second quarter, the Cardinal offense would step up and win the quarter 7-1 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard (4) and Ryan Ehli for the 12-4 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Spartans would do there best to make it a game and win the quarter 3-2 scoring for the Cardinals was Austin Belz and Brad Johnson and take a 14-7 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would put the finishing touches on the game with a 6-0 quarter with goals from Jake Carroll, Mike Gay, Austin Belz, Sean Alder, Logan Lamothe, and EJ Suris for the 20-7 victory.
