Salmon River's Otto Thomas (7) fights through the breakup play and chargers to the net for the shoot. It would be a non-conference matchup as the Salmon River Shamrocks would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the #9 Beekmantown Eagles. The Shamrocks would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead on Bryton Burns's goal at 2 minutes of the first period. The Eagles would come back and tie the game at one on Kade Collins's goal. The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead on Christin Wawrzynski's goal at 13:30 of the first period. The game would remain there until 13:10 of the second period when the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-1 on Michael Parent's goal. The Shamrocks would cut the lead to 3-2 on Otto Thomas's powerplay goal at 8:43 of the third period. The Eagles would regain the two-goal lead on Hayden King's goal at 9:03 of the third. Northeastern Clinton's (10) battles to win the offensive zone face-off. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would travel to Plattsburgh to take on the Hornets in Section VII. The Hornets would come in with revenge on their mind as they had gotten beat in the early match this season. The Hornets would get the opening goal to make it 1-0. The Cougars would chargeback and tie the game at one on Ryan Savage's breakaway goal in the first period. From there on out the Hornets would be in control as they would score 4 unanswered goals to secure the 5-1 victory. In the losing effort, Ryan Roberts would make 30 saves on the night. Gallery

The Eagles would jump out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first couple minutes of the first period. The game would stay there until the second period when the Cougars would get a power-play go to make it 3-1. Shortly after though the Eagles would score to put the lead back at three. In the third period, the teams would trade a goal each as the Eagles would get the 5-2 victory. Gallery

The game would stay there till 9:03 mark of the second when Gonyo would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 3-0 on Dupee's goal late in the second period. The Huskies would get on the board at the 51-second mark of the third period to make it 3-1 on the power play. Then at 5:10 mark of the period, Benware would strike again to make it a 3-2 game. The Huskies would fight the rest of the game but their efforts would come shortly as the Cougars get the 3-2 win. Northeastern Clinton's (10) battles hard with the Hornets face-off man for the in zone face-off win. It would be the #3 Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the #6 Northeastern Clinton Cougars in Section VII Division II Quarterfinals. The game would remain scoreless until the last minute of the first period when Plattsburgh's when Kurtis Olsen would light the lamp to make it 1-0. Then in the second period, the Hornets would add another two more goals to make it a 3-0 game after the second period. Then just 2:30 into the third the Cougars would look to make it a game as Dayton Roberts would score to make it 3-1. Although the Hornets would answer right back with four of there own to make it 7-1 Hornets lead. The Cougars would get another one late but it wouldn't be enough as the Hornets get the 7-2 win. In the winning effort the Plattsburgh Hornets advance to the Semi-Finals where they get the waiting Beekmantown Eagles. Gallery

The game would stay there til the 10:52 mark of the second period when Andrew Becherd would get his second of the night. Then just 15 seconds later the Cougars would get on the board to make it 2-1 on the Dayton Roberts goal. The game would stay there till 9:14 of the third when Kurtis Olsen would make it 3-1 Hornets. Then at the 1435 mark, Andrew Becherd would finish off the hat trick and make it 4-1. In the losing effort, Ryan Roberts would make 37 saves as the Cougars fall to 5-10 on the season. Gallery
