The Northeastern Clinton Cougars celebrate in the corner as they score the game-winner in overtime. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in section 7 action. The Cougars would take the 1-0 lead at the 8-minute mark of the second period on Kyle Vassar's goal. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Adian Lvalley's goal with four minutes left in the second period. The Eagles would cut the lead in half on Christan Wawrzynski's goal in the final minute of the second period. In the final three minutes of the regulation, Matthew Maggy would get the equalizer to force overtime. In the overtime, the Cougars would get the winner in the final minute from Ian Gordon. In the winning effort for the Cougars Ryan Roberts would make 25 saves. In the losing effort, Cole Harvey would make 23 saves as the Eagles go to 0-2-1. Gallery.

It would be a Section 7 Division 2 Semi-final matchup between #1 Beekmantown Eagles and #4 Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The upset-minded Cougars would take the 1-0 on Landon Coulombe's goal at 1:10 of the first period. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Dayron Roberts goal at 11:31 of the first period. The Eagles would get on the board before the end of period on Hayden King at 13:15 of the period. When the teams came back for the second period the Eagles would be looking to take control of the game and they did with scoring four goals in 2:30. The four-goal scores in the period would be Nathan Hebert, Brantley Marion, Christian Wawrzynski, and Brendan Davison to a stranglehold on the game at 5-2 Beekmantown after the second period. In the third period, the Cougars would try and mount a comeback as Ian Gordon would score at 7:38 of the period to make it 5-3. The Eagles would stomp out the as they would score at 10:45 thanks to Brantley Marion (second goal of the night ) to secure the 6-3 victory. In the winning effort, the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the Section VIIChampionship next week against Lake Placid as the Northeastern Clinton Cougars season comes to an end. Gallery

It would be a non-conference matchup as the Salmon River Shamrocks would travel to Plattsburgh and take on the #9 Beekmantown Eagles. The Shamrocks would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead on Bryton Burns goal at 2 minutes of the first period. The Eagles would come back and tie the game at one on Kade Collins goal. The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead on Christin Wawrzynski goal at 13:30 of the first period. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would travel to Plattsburgh to take on the #10 Beekmantown Eagles in Section 7 Division 2 action. The Eagles would jump out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first couple minutes of the first period. The game would stay there until the second period when the Cougars would get a power-play to go to make it 3-1. Shortly after though the Eagles would score to put the lead back at three. In the third period, the teams would trade a goal each as the Eagles would get the 5-2 victory. Gallery.

Northeastern Clinton's Dayton Roberts (21) with the shot attempt in front of the net on the goal attempt. It would be a non-league affair between the Malone Huskies and the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The Cougars would strike first at the 8:50 mark of the first period on Gonyo's goal. The game would stay there till 9:03 mark of the second when Gonyo would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 3-0 on Dupee's goal late in the second period. The Huskies would get on the board at the 51-second mark of the third period to make it 3-1 on the power play. Then at 5:10 mark of the period, Benware would strike again to make it a 3-2 game. The Huskies would fight the rest of the game but their efforts would come shortly as the Cougars get the 3-2 win. In the winning effort, the Cougars goalies would combine for 24 saves as the Cougars go to 6-6 on the season. Gallery

Section VII Class B Championship #1 Peru Indians Vs #2 Beekmantown Eagles October 31 2015

Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) and Jacob LaFountain stand up Peru running back for the stop. It would be arch-rivals the Peru Indians and the Beekmantown meeting up for yet another Section VII Class C Championship. There would be no scoring until Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) would get an 8-yard touchdown at 3:19 of the second to make it 7-0 eagles. The Eagles would extend there lead to 14-0 when Alex Archer would score another rushing touchdown. Then in the final minute of the half the Eagles would break the game open a 50 yard run by Tyler Myers (2) to make it 21-0 at the break. Then in the first two minutes of the second half, the Eagles would extend the lead to 27-0 on pick 6. Then in the closing minutes of the third quarter, the Indians would get on the broad with a Dakota Arquette run to make it 27-7 after three. Then in the opening minute of the fourth, the Eagles would extend the lead to 34-7 on another running score. The Indians thought would come right back down and score on another Dakota Arquette running touchdown. Although the Eagles would answer back with Tyler Myer's second 50-yard rushing touchdown to make it 40-13. Then to put the icing on the cake the Eagles would get one more score to secure the 47-13 victory. With the win the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the New York State Playoffs and will face the Malone Huskies in the first round. Gallery

It would be arch-rivals the Peru Indians and the Beekmantown meeting up for yet another Section VII Class C Championship. There would be no scoring until Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) would get an 8-yard touchdown at 3:19 of the second to make it 7-0 eagles. The Eagles would extend there lead to 14-0 when Alex Archer would score another rushing touchdown. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 3 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 18 2015

Plattsburgh's Jason Moore (4) grabs the jersey of the Beekmantown running back and drags him to the ground for the tackle. It would be week 3 of the CVAC football season and the match up would feature a pair of winless teams as the Plattsburgh Hornets and Beekmantown Eagles would enter at 0-2. The Eagles would take the 6-0 lead on a short run for the score. Then in the second quarter, they would pull away as they would score twice including a two-point conversation to take a 21-0 lead into the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Hornets would make some adjustments as the two teams would play even ball. The Hornets would get on the board midway through the fourth on Quaran run to make it 21-6. The hornets would have some other chances but were unable to capitalize on them and the Eagles would hold on for the 21-6 victory. With the win, the Eagles go to 1-2 while the Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season. Gallery
