It would be the fourth straight match for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals Women's Soccer team against a Liberty League squad, and this time, they would get the R.P.I. Engineers. The game would go back and forth all night, and in the second half, the rain would come, and at times, it would be a tough rain. The Cardinals would have their chance in the first half to take the lead in the game, but the goal was called off on an offside. The game was starting to look like it would end in a zero-to-zero tie. The Engineers would keep coming, though, and with about 90 seconds left, they would find the back of the net on Sarah Sedlacek on her second goal of the season. The Cardinals would have no time to get the equalizer and would fall to 2-6 as they enter SUNYAC play this weekend as they take on the Morrisville State for the R.P.I.
