Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres Matt Rivers (88) connects on the pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning for the walk-off grand slam as the Padres beat the Plattsburgh Cardinals 4-1. In-game two of the doubleheader the Padres get 1 in the first Cardinals would come back in the second to tie it at one. Then throughout the next few innings the Padres would add to there lead to complete the sweep of the Cardinals with a 6-2 win. With the sweep, the Padres move back 500 at 6-6 as they host the Fourth Ward Timberjaxxs. As the Plattsburgh Cardinals fall to 8-4 as they host the Lyon Mountain Miners in a very important doubleheader at the top of standings. Gallery

Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres Donny Coolidge (23) connects on the pitch and sends it out for one of many homer runs hit on the day. It wouldn't be enough on this though as the Padres would get swept in the twin bill 8-3 in game 1 and 18-13 in game 2. The opener would be tight through the first five innings until the Expos exploded for 5 runs. In-game two the slugfest was on as it the Padres would actually lead 11-10 after 2 innings the Expos would rally for the win though. The Padres fall to 4-6 heading into next weekend's twin bill at home against the Plattsburgh Cardinals. While the Expos improve to 7-3 headed into two games with the Fourth Ward A's. Gallery

Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres Donny Coolidge (32) slides in safe at the plate ahead of the tag to break up a tight game in first of a doubleheader with the Fourth Ward Timberjaxxs. The first game of the twin bill would be scoreless through the first five innings till the Padre's scratch one across in the bottom of the fifth. The Timberjaxxs would answer back in the top of sixth to tie it at 1. Then at the bottom of the inning, the Padres get two-run to get the 3-1 victory. In the second game of the Padres would answer early an often as their bats came alive and would cruise to the 11-3 victory to earn the sweep and improve there record to 4-4 headed into there game next week against Lyon Mountain Miners will the Timberjaxxs fall to 1-7 as they will face off with the Athletics. Plattsburgh Cardinals (8) slides safe at third base with the steal ahead of the tag from Airborne Speedway/Hockey Plus Padres Matt River (88). Both games of the doubleheader would be scoreless until the late innings. In the first game, the Cardinals would get two in the fifth and four in the sixth as they would get the 8-1 win. In the second game, the Cardinals would get three in the fifth inning to get the 3-0 win and sweep the Padres. With the sweep the Cardinals will remain on top in standings at 4-0 and the Padres will fall to 0-4. Gallery
