Plattsburgh North Star Zach Blocker (#33) would make the cut back to the left of the field for a 65 yard punt return touchdown. He would get some great blocking on the return especially from Josh Nephew (#18). Gallery
Plattsburgh North Stars @ Vermont Ice Storm July 18th 2009
The Plattsburgh North Stars would head across the lake this week to take on long time rival the Vermont Ice Storm at the Burlington High School. It would defensive game on both sides as it was tied at zero going into the 4th quarter. Then the North Star offense would respond as they would cruise to a 21-0 win over the Ice Storm and stay perfect on the season. The North Stars will be home this weekend July 25th to host the Quebec Titans. Pictured Elisa Parks (#35) getting upended as fights for yards on the ground. Gallery

Empire Football League Week 3: Plattsburgh North Stars vs Broome County Dragons July 11th 2009

Plattsburgh North Stars Joey Painter (#12) drops the helmet down and lays it straight into the shoulder of the Broome County Dragon running back. As the North Star defense would stand strong and hold the Dragons to just a 160 yards of offense. Gallery
Plattsburgh North Stars vs Broome County Dragons July 11th 2009
The Plattsburgh North Stars would start off their Empire League season with a well-fought victory over the Broome County Dragons 21-13 in a game that they never trailed in. The North Stars would use a stellar performance by the defense for the victory along with a good attack on the ground from Brandon Keleher has he would rush for over 100 yards on the day. The North Stars will be traveling to Vermont on July 18th to take on defending league champion the Vermont Ice Storm at 1:00 pm at South Burlington High School. Empire Football League Week 2: Plattsburgh North Stars vs Vermont Ravens June 27th 2009
Plattsburgh North Star's Matt St. Clair (#2) turns and burns down the sidelines for a huge gain for the North Star's during the 1st quarter. The North Star's would go on to defeat the Ravens 25-7. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars vs Vermont Ravens June 27th 2009
Plattsburgh North Star's Brandon Keleher (40) breaks down the field on a huge gain on the ground during the 1st quarter of Plattsburgh North Star's and Vermont Ravens game. The North Star's would continue there winning ways as they handily defeated the Ravens 25-7 to improve to 2-0. The game for the North Star's will be July 11th against the Broome County Dragons at 7:30 pm at the Plattsburgh High Athletic Complex in the Empire League season opener. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars vs Southern Vermont Storm June 20th 2009
The Plattsburgh North Star's started off their 2009 season by traveling down to Manchester Center, VT to lock horns with the Southern Vermont Storm. In a game that would remain scoreless until the 4th quarter and would see the North Star's pro vail with 12-7 win over a very scrappy Southern Vermont Storm squad. The North Stars will be back in action on June 27th against the Vermont Ravens at the Plattsburgh High Athletic Complex kickoff is 7:30.
