Beekmantown's Nolan Latinville (19) rifles the puck past Northeastern Clinton's Peter Judkins (1) for the go-ahead goal. It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference affair as the Beekmantown Eagles would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars at the Plattsburgh State Field House. The game would start off good for the home Eagles as they would get the early lead just 2:59 into the first period on the Chase Clikey goal for the 1-0 lead. The Cougars would keep crashing the net and get the equalizer from Owen Ebersol at the 9:07 mark of the period. The Eagles would be quick to strike back and regain the one-goal lead at 2-1 on the Nolan Latinville goal. Then as the horn was getting ready to sound the Eagles would get a goal from Dayton Rovers to take the 3-1 lead into the intermission. When the teams were back for the second period they both would have their chances and the physical play was there but no one would be able to light the lamp and it would remain 3-1. In the third period, the Eagles would put the icing on the cake with a goal at the 3:47 mark from Nolan Latinville to secure the 4-1 win.
