The Eagles would draw first blood on the goal by Josh Barriere at 4:25 of the first. The game would stay there all the way till the 7:25 mark of the second period when the Eagles would score two short-handed goals in six seconds from Josh Barriere and Ryan Waterbury to make it 3-0 lead. Then at 11:35 of the period, Josh Barriere would score to finish off the Hat Trick and make it 4-0. Then at the 12:32 mark, the Eagles would extend the lead to 5-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then the game would stay there till the 6:43 mark when the Cougars would answer with two goals in seconds to make it 5-2 on Alex Gonyo and Dayton Roberts's goals. Then thirty seconds later the Eagles would answer back with two goals in fourteen seconds from Ryan Waterbury to finish of the hat trick. Then at the 11:13 mark the Eagles would put the icing on cake with Nathan Trombley's first career goal in securing the 8-2 win.
