Northeastern Clinton's Nick Rowe (9) misses on the open net on the tapper right in front. It would be the second game of the Beekmantown Hockey Tournament and it would pit the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the Pelham Pelicans. The Pelicans would waste little time showing why they were in the final four a year ago as they would score six goals in the first period coming from Nat Heintz, Gibson Smith (twice), Nick Davidow (twice), Stefan Miklos. The Cougars would score in the final two minutes of the period to make it 6-1 on Devyn Sample's goal. In the second period, the teams would trade goals to make it 7-2 after two periods. Scoring would be Dayton Roberts for the Cougars and Ben Hurd for the Pelicans. In the third period, the Pelicans would add three for insurance as they would cruise to the 10-2 victory.
