Northeastern Clinton's (10) battles to win the offensive zone face-off. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would travel to Plattsburgh to take on the Hornets in Section VII. The Hornets would come in with revenge on their mind as they had gotten beat in the early match this season. The Hornets would get the opening goal to make it 1-0. The Cougars would chargeback and tie the game at one on Ryan Savage's breakaway goal in the first period.
