Chateaugay's Alexis Beach (10) with the steal at half court as part of her seven steals night. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets 50-36. It was a battle for the east division lead. Both teams entered tonight's contest with only one league loss each and were tied for first place in east divisional play. Malayala Fleury had twelve boards and played a great all-around game. Alexis Beach had another stellar defensive effort for the win. Alexis bottlenecked their offense from baseline to the baseline. Alexis had seven steals in the win and three assists. Hannah Cook had five steals and three assists. Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 25 points. The Massena Red Raiders would lead the whole game although it would never get above a 10 point lead. The Red Raiders would hold a 24-16 lead at the break and then escape with the 59-55. The Bulldogs would start of slow but end the first quarter on a 15-2 run and that would close the book on the game. The Bulldogs would have a 24-12 lead at break and cruise to the 45-26 victory.
