This would be a very rough game right from the drop of the puck. The game would remain scoreless until the 11 minute mark of the second period when the Spartans take the 1-0. Then with 3 minutes remaining the in the period the Cardinal tie the game up on Kyle Taylor's goal. The game would stay tied until Jake Mooney scores the game winner with 4 minutes left in the game to give the Cardinals the Cardinal Classic title. The game would remain scoreless until the 2 minute mark of the second period when Alex Brenton scores. The just 4 minutes later Kyle Taylor scores to make it 2-0. Then to end the period the Jensen brothers would each get one to make it 4-0 after the second period. Then in the third period Matt McCleod would put the icing on for the 5-0 win. Shamrocks would get one in the board first on Colton Hart's goal at 8:43 of the first. Then in the second period would strike fast with Tye Terrance scoring 20 seconds in. Then Shawn Avery would get one with 3 minutes left in the period to take the 3-0 lead in the final period. Then in the third Oakley Thomas would put the icing on the cake 3 minutes in. The Huskies would get on board when Tucker Bartenslager got the short handed goal. Cory Garrow would stop 19 in the win for Salmon River as Dan Rondeau would stop 22 in the lose. The Chiefs would get two goals in the first from Jeff Kurz and Matt Macasland to take the 2-0 lead after one. The scoring would open up in the 2nd period as the teams would combine for 5 goals. Scoring would be Joey Bridgrman and Matt Macasland for the Chiefs and for the Huskies Tanner Studlack, Jake Henning, and Trevor Henderson. Saranac would take the 4-3 lead into the third. The Chiefs would finish off the game two goals in the third by Macasland and McCall for the 6-3 win. In the winning effort Zach Lareau would stop 45 of 48 shots. The Blue Bombers would get the quick 1-0 lead 9 seconds in. The Huskies would tie it back up later in the first on Jacob Henning's goal. The Blue Bombers answer with another goal to take the 2-1 into the break. Then in the second period the Blue Bombers would get another one for the 3-1 lead. Before the Huskies would come charging back to tie it at 3 on Tanner Studlack and Jacob Henning (2nd of the night) goal. Then in the third the Blue Bombers would take the lead for good with three minutes left. Then they would add an empty netter for the 5-3 final. In the lose Dan Rondeau would stop 26 shots. The Cardinals would add the icing on the cake in the third period when Morgan McInnis would get her second of the night. Plattsburgh State's Ryan Criag (11) comes sliding across on the break out and aims for the bottom corner on the short side. In a game that would be rough and tumble through out the Cardinals would come up on the short enf of the stick losing 3-2 in overtime. Norwich would get the openning goal to take a 1-0 lead after the first. Then in the 2nd period the Carinals would tie it up at 1. Then just a few minutes later the Cadets would take the lead back 2-1 lead. Then in the final minute of the 2nd period the Cardinals would tie the game back up at 2. That is where the game would stay until the Cadets got the game winner with 2 minutes remaining in overtime on a very questionable power play. With the lose the Cardinals season would come to end in the NCAA Quarterfinals with a final record of 20-8-1. Gallery

The Cardinals would have a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals by Eric Satim and Cody Adams (Game Winning Goal). The Cardinals would strike for two more in the 2nd period to increase there lead to 4-0 after two periods on goals by Ryan Franan and Dylan Clarke. Fredonia State would break up shut out late in the third period to finishing off the scoring. With the win the Plattsburgh State Cardinals have earned a spot at in the NCAA Tournament and will wait to see who there oppent will be. Gallery

Although they needed to wait until games were over Saturday to find out there fate in the SUNYAC playoffs.
