Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #13 Neuman Knights

The game would not start off good for the Cardinals as they gave one first period goal and trail 1-0 after the first period. In the second period it would get worse as they gave up three goals and trail 4-0 after two periods. The Cardinals would finally get on the board in the third period on Jesse Neher goal to make it 4-1. Although the Knights would answer back with three goals of there own and secure the 7-1 victory. The teams would be equal throughout the first period as they would trade goals to and be tied at 1 after the first period. In the second period the Pelicans would show why they are the number 1 team in the state as they would score four goals and extend there lead to 5-1. In the third period they would continue and put the icing on the cake with two more goals. With that the Cougars would fall to the Pelicans 7-1 and fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

The Garenets would not take long to take control of the game as they would score twice in the first period for the 2-0 lead. In the second period they would add one more to extend there lead to 3-0. In the third period the Rye offense would open up with three goals. The Eagles would give up some fight they would add a goal from Matthew Maggy. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would fall to the Garnet 6-1 and fall to 1-3-1 on the season. Gallery

In the second period the Eagles would break the game open as they would score four times from Christian Wawrzynski (twice), Josh McCauley, and Nathan Hebret to lead 6-0. In the third period the Eagles would add two more for the icing on the cake from Kade Collins, and Kaden Kowalasaki to secure the 8-0 victory. The game would remain there until the last minute of the game when the eagles would add an empty netter from Hunter Laslo to secure the 2-0 win for the Golden Eagles. It would be a rematch of last years SUNTAC championship as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Knights. The Knights would get two goals in the first period for the early 2-0 lead. In the early part of the second period the Cardinals would get two quick goals from Aryton Valente Scuyker Seyfert to tie the game at two. The Knights would regain the lead at 3-2 n a Connor Anthonie goal. The Cardinals would come back and tie the game back up at three on Pat Egan's goal. Although the Knights would answer back 42 seconds later to regain the one goal lead at 4-3. At the ten minute mark of the third period the Knights would extend there lead to 5-3. With just over six minutes left the Cardinals would make it a one goal game at 5-4 on Gavin Yates goal. The Cardinals would fight through the rest but it wouldn't be enough as they fall short 5-4. That is where the game would stay til 1:30 remaining in the game when Christain Wawrzynski would score to tie the game at 2. #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #4 Oswego State Lakers

Plattsburgh State's Brady O'Quinn (27) crashes into the net hard and takes out the Oswego State goalie. It would be the classic rivalry this time in the SUNYAC Semi-Finals as the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #4 Oswego State Lakers. It would take until the 8:15 mark of the second period until we would have a goal from Jesse Neher to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Lakers would get two goals in the reminder of the period to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead after two periods. The Cardinals Nick Belger would tie the game up at 2 at the 7:17 mark of the third period on a power play goal. Then the Cardinals would score again at the 10:09 mark from Dillan Fox to regain the lead at 3-2. Although the Lakers would get a late period goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. In that overtime Michael Radisa would score for the Cardinals at the 10:09 mark and give them the 4-3 win and send them to the SUNYAC Championship against Geneseo State. #1 Beekmantown Eagles Vs #4 Northeastern Clinton Cougars

It would be a Section 7 Division 2 Semi-final matchup between #1 Beekmantown Eagles and #4 Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The upset minded Cougars would take the 1-0 on Landon Coulombe goal at 1:10 of the first period. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Dayron Roberts goal at 11:31 of the first period. The Eagles would get on the board before the end of period on Hayden King at 13:15 of the period. When the teams came back for the second period the Eagles would be looking to take control of the game and they did with scoring four goals in 2:30. The four goal scores in the period would be Nathan Hebert, Brantley Marion, Christian Wawrzynski, and Brendan Davison to strangle hold on the game at 5-2 Beekmantown after the second period. In the third period the Cougars would try and mount a comeback as Ian Gordon would score at 7:38 of the period to make it 5-3. The Eagles would stomp out the as they would score at 10:45 thanks to Brantley Marion (second goal of the night ) to secure the 6-3 victory. It would be the last regular season game of the season and a battle of the top 2 SUNYAC teams as the #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #12 Geneseo State Knights. The Knights would get the opening goal of the game on a powerplay goal from Matt Solomann at 11:10 of the first period. The Cardinals would answer right back and tie it 1 18 seconds later on a Jesse Neher goal. Then at 13:29 of the first period Stephen Collins would give the Knights the one goal lead back. The Cardinals would tie the game back up again this time at two on Conor Gorman's goal at the 16:45 mark of the first period. The game would stay there all the way til the last minute of the second period when Patrick Hermans would score for the Cardinals to give them the 3-2 lead. Although the Knights would tie it at 3 in the first minute of the third period on a Pat Condon goal. The game would end up staying tied at three and the Cardinals would earn there second tie of the weekend. In the effort Spencer Finney would make 22 saves as the Cardinals go to 19-3-3 on the season. The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead on Christin Wawrzynski goal at 13:30 of the first period. The game would remain there til 13:10 of the second period when the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-1 on Michael Parent's goal. The game would stay there til about two minutes left in the game when the Cardinals would tie it up on a 4x4 goal by Anthony Calabrese. The game would go to overtime where Connor Gorman would get the game winner with 2 seconds left to scecure the 4-3 victory. The Cardinals would leave no stretch to the imagination that they were in control of the game scoring five times in the first period for a 5-0 lead. The goal scores in the period would be Nick Belenger (2), Luke Baleshetea, Ross Sloan and Brandon O'Quinn. In the second period they would pick up where they left off as Brandon O'Quinn would get second of the night on a power play goal to make it 6-0. Then a 1:20 into the third period Pat Egan would strike to extend the Cardinals lead to 7-2. Then in the closing minutes of the game the Cardinals would strike with Luke Baleshetea's second goal of the night to finish of the game and give the Cardinals the 8-2 victory. The game would be tight through out the start and be scoreless after the first period of play. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead a 1:16 into the second period when Ryan Chaisson would get his first collegiate goal. Then at 12:14 mark of the second period the Cardinals would extend there lead to 2-0 on a power play goal from Pat Egan. Then in the last minutes of the third period Ryan Botting would put the icing on the cake with his own power play goal to secure the 3-0 victory and give the Cardinals the championship. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead on Pat Egan's goal at 9:54 of the first period. Then just over three minutes later Pat Egan would strike again to make it 2-0. Then to end the six minute stretch in the first the Cardinals Cole Stallard would score to make it 3-0 Cardinals after the first period. In the second period the Cardinals would contuine there dominance scoring twice more from Cam Owens and Brandon O'Quinn to make it 5-0 after two periods. In the third period the Cardinals would put the final touches on the game scoring twice more this time Luke Balesheta and Kyle Hall for the 7-0 victory. In the winning effort Brady Rouleau would stop all 18 shots in the shutout victory as the Cardinals go to 9-1-1 on the season. With the win the Cardinals play for the W.B.
