In the second period it would get worse as they gave up three goals and trail 4-0 after two periods. The Cardinals would finally get on the board in the third period on Jesse Neher goal to make it 4-1. Although the Knights would answer back with three goals of there own and secure the 7-1 victory. The Garenets would not take long to take control of the game as they would score twice in the first period for the 2-0 lead. In the second period they would add one more to extend there lead to 3-0. In the third period the Rye offense would open up with three goals. The Eagles would give up some fight they would add a goal from Matthew Maggy. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would fall to the Garnet 6-1 and fall to 1-3-1 on the season. Gallery

The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would meet up with the top team in the state the Pelham Pelicans as part of the Beekmentown Holiday Tournament. The teams would be equal throughout the first period as they would trade goals to and be tied at 1 after the first period. In the second period the Pelicans would show why they are the number 1 team in the state as they would score four goals and extend there lead to 5-1. In the third period they would continue and put the icing on the cake with two more goals. With that the Cougars would fall to the Pelicans 7-1 and fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

This would be a game that the Plattsburgh Hornets would dominate from start to finish. The Hornets would have a 20-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Hornets would win the quarter 19-13 and take a 39-22 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the third quarter it would stay Hornets game as they win the quarter 26-12 and lead the game 65-34. The Hornets would go into coast mode in the fourth quarter and the Cheifs would win the quarter 15-13. In the second period the Eagles would break the game open as they would score four times from Christian Wawrzynski (twice), Josh McCauley, and Nathan Hebret to lead 6-0. In the third period the Eagles would add two more for the icing on the cake from Kade Collins, and Kaden Kowalasaki to secure the 8-0 victory. The game would remain there until the last minute of the game when the eagles would add an empty netter from Hunter Laslo to secure the 2-0 win for the Golden Eagles. It would be a rematch of last years SUNTAC championship as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Geneseo State Knights. The Knights would get two goals in the first period for the early 2-0 lead. In the early part of the second period the Cardinals would get two quick goals from Aryton Valente Scuyker Seyfert to tie the game at two. The Knights would regain the lead at 3-2 n a Connor Anthonie goal. The Cardinals would come back and tie the game back up at three on Pat Egan's goal. Although the Knights would answer back 42 seconds later to regain the one goal lead at 4-3. At the ten minute mark of the third period the Knights would extend there lead to 5-3. With just over six minutes left the Cardinals would make it a one goal game at 5-4 on Gavin Yates goal. The Cardinals would fight through the rest but it wouldn't be enough as they fall short 5-4. The Cougars would take the 1-0 lead at the 8 minute mark of the second period on Kyle Vassar's goal. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Adian Lvalley's goal with four minutes left in the second period. The Eagles would cut the lead in half on Christan Wawrzynski goal in the final minute of the second period. In the final three minutes of the regulation Matthew Maggy would get the equalizer to foce overtime. In the overtime the Cougars would get the winner in the final minute from Ian Gordon. It would be the classic rivalry for the Section VII Class B Championship as the #1 Beekmantown Eagles would take on the #2 Peru Indians. The Eagles would fire the shoot and take the 7-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarters the offenses would come alive and combine for 35 points and the game would be deadlocked at 21 at the half. When the teams came back for the third quarter the defenses would show up as the Indians would get the only score to take a 28-21 into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter the Peru Indians would outscore the Eagles 13-8 and secure the 41-29 victory. In the winning effort the Peru Indians advance to the New York State playoffs and will take on the Potsdam Sandstoners in the first round. Gallery

In the Section VII Class C Championship it would be a battle of the Saranac's as the Saranac Lake Red Storm would battle with the Saranac Chiefs. The Red Storm would jump out to the 13-0 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Chiefs would score on a Issac Garman touchdown to make it 13-7 at the intermission. In the third quarter the Red Storm would regain the 12 point lead at 19-7. In the fourth quarter the Chiefs would not go quietly as they would start off with a safety to make it 19-9. Then they score with about 4 minutes left on a Sean Ahern touchdown to make it 19-16. That is where the game would finish as the Saranac Lake Red Storm secure the victory and advance to the New York State Playoffs and will play the Ogdensburg Blue Devils. Gallery

The Saranac Chiefs celebrate after getting there first win of the season in overtime and heading to the championship. It would be Week 8 of the Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference season and Semi-Finals of Class C pitting #2 Ausable Valley Patriots and #3 Saranac Chiefs. It would be an evenly matched game through the great equalizer the rain there would be no score after the first quarter. The Saranac Chiefs would take a 6-0 lead into half on a QB sneak by Johnny Maye with 5 minutes left in the half. In the third quarter with 8 minutes left the Ausable Valley Patriots would tie the game up at 6 on a Tyler Atkins run. The game would remain there through regulation. They would go into overtime tied at six. In that overtime the Chiefs would score on a short run by Johnny Devins on there first possession to secure the win and advance to the Class C finals against the Saranac Lake Red Strom. Gallery

Peru's John Gallo (8) with the interception on the ball thrown into double coverage. It would be week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and we would have the Saranac Chiefs playing host to the Peru Indians. The Saranac Chiefs would jump out to the 6-0 lead on a 19 yard run from Sean Ahern at the 9:36 mark of the first. The Peru Indians would come right back down the field and score to tie the game at six on the long touchdown pass Evan Palmer. The Indiand would take the 9-6 lead 2:23 into the second quarter on a 26 yard field goal and thats where the game would be at for halftime. At the 9:37 mark of the third quarter the Indians would extend there lead to 15-6 on the touchdown pass. Then nearing the end of the third quarter the Indians would grab a pick 6 to make it 22-6 going to the last quarter. In the fourth quarter the Indians would score again this time John Gallo to secure the 29-6 victory. In the winning effort the Indians go to 3-3 while the Chiefs fall to 0-6 on the season. Gallery

It would be week four of the C.V.A.C. season and the Ausable Valley Patriots would travel to the Peru Indians. The Patriots would take the 7-0 lead with 4:25 left in the first quarter on Brandon Snow's catch in the corner of the end zone. The Patriots would extend the lead to 13-0 on Brandon Snow's second touchdown of the day with 2:05 left in the half. That would be all the Patriots would need as the teams would go scoreless in the second half as the Patriots would hold on for the 13-0 victory. It would be week four of the Champlain Valley Football League and the Saranac Chiefs would travel to Moriah for the game against the Vikings. The game would go back and forth throughout. The Vikings would take the 6-0 lead near the end of the first quarter on a touchdown run from Ethan Java to make it 6-0 Vikings. Then early in the second quarter the Chiefs would tie the game up a touchdown pass to Andy LeBeau. That is where the game would stay til there was 1:30 left in the third when Ethan Java would score again and they would get the two point conversation to make it 14-6 Vikings. Then with under three minutes left in the game the Vikings would extend the lead to 21-6 on Ethan Java's third touchdown of the day. In the closing minute of the game the Chiefs would score to make the final look better as Luke Maye would score on the QB sneak to make the final score 21-12. The Chiefs would cut the lead the defict in half on the long touchdown reception for Isaac Garman and thats where the game would be at the half. The Hornets would get the first score of the game on a 2 yard run by Brady Pennington to make it 6-0 at the 7:30 mark . The Hornets would extend there lead to 12-0 a 31 yard interception return Harney just 38 seconds later. The Horners would extend there lead to 18-0 on a 33 yard touchdown reception by Ben Champange and take that 18-0 lead into the intermission. The game would stay there til the 6th inning when the Mariners would explode for 4 runs to expand there lead to 5-0. The Cougars wouldn't go quietly though as they would load the bases in the seventh inning and get a run to bust up the shutout. It would take until the 8:15 mark of the second period until we would have a goal from Jesse Neher to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead. The Lakers would get two goals in the reminder of the period to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead after two periods. The Cardinals Nick Belger would tie the game up at 2 at the 7:17 mark of the third period on a power play goal. Then the Cardinals would score again at the 10:09 mark from Dillan Fox to regain the lead at 3-2. Although the Lakers would get a late period goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. The upset minded Cougars would take the 1-0 on Landon Coulombe goal at 1:10 of the first period. The Cougars would extend there lead to 2-0 on Dayron Roberts goal at 11:31 of the first period. The Eagles would get on the board before the end of period on Hayden King at 13:15 of the period. When the teams came back for the second period the Eagles would be looking to take control of the game and they did with scoring four goals in 2:30. The four goal scores in the period would be Nathan Hebert, Brantley Marion, Christian Wawrzynski, and Brendan Davison to strangle hold on the game at 5-2 Beekmantown after the second period. In the third period the Cougars would try and mount a comeback as Ian Gordon would score at 7:38 of the period to make it 5-3. The Cardinals would answer right back and tie it 1 18 seconds later on a Jesse Neher goal. Then at 13:29 of the first period Stephen Collins would give the Knights the one goal lead back. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would get the lone goal in the first period on Kayla Meneghin short handed goal at the 4:32 mark. The game would stay there til the 6:09 mark of the second period when Karen Hudson would score to make it 2-0. Then the Cardinals would end the second period with a couple of power play goals from Courtney Moarity and Jordan Lipson to make it 4-0 after the second period. The Red Dragons would get on the board at 2:28 of the third period to make it 4-1. Then at 6:02 of the third period the Cardinals would regain the four goal lead on a power play goal by Melissa Ames. The game would stay there till the 8 minute mark of the second period when Pat Egan would score on the power play to make it 2-1 Cardinals. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host arch rival Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals take the lead early at 4:33 of the first period on Kyle Hall's goal to make it 1-0. Oswego would answer right back thrity seconds later to tie the game up at one. Then in the last five minutes of the first the Cardinals would retake the lead at 2-1 on Conor Gormans goal. Oswego would come back and tie the game up back up at 11:54 of the second. The game would remain there til the early minutes of the third when Oswego would take the 3-2 lead. The game would stay there til about two minutes left in the game when the Cardinals would tie it up on a 4x4 goal by Anthony Calabrese. The game would go to overtime where Connor Gorman would get the game winner with 2 seconds left to scecure the 4-3 victory. William Smith would add one in the second period to make it 6-1 headed to third period. It would be a non-league affair between the Malone Huskies and the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. The Cougars would strike first at the 8:50 mark of the first period on Gonyo's goal. The game would stay there til 9:03 mark of the second when Gonyo would strike again this time on the power play to make it 2-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 3-0 on Dupee's goal late in the second period. The Huskies would get on the board at the 51 second mark of the third period to make it 3-1 on the power play. Then at 5:10 mark of the period Benware would strike again to make it a 3-2 game. The Huskies would fight the rest of the game but there efforts would come short as the Cougars get the 3-2 win. The goal scores in the period would be Nick Belenger (2), Luke Baleshetea, Ross Sloan and Brandon O'Quinn. In the second period they would pick up where they left off as Brandon O'Quinn would get second of the night on a power play goal to make it 6-0. Then the Kangaroos would finally get on the period with two goal in a two minute span in the second period to make it 6-2 at the end of the second period. Then a 1:20 into the third period Pat Egan would strike to extend the Cardinals lead to 7-2. Then in the closing minutes of the game the Cardinals would strike with Luke Baleshetea's second goal of the night to finish of the game and give the Cardinals the 8-2 victory. Mason Winter Classic and it would feature the #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting the Fitchburg State Falcons. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead on Pat Egan's goal at 9:54 of the first period. Then just over three minutes later Pat Egan would strike again to make it 2-0. Then to end the six minute stretch in the first the Cardinals Cole Stallard would score to make it 3-0 Cardinals after the first period. In the second period the Cardinals would contuine there dominance scoring twice more from Cam Owens and Brandon O'Quinn to make it 5-0 after two periods. In the third period the Cardinals would put the final touches on the game scoring twice more this time Luke Balesheta and Kyle Hall for the 7-0 victory.
