Air it Out Vs Rand Hill Painters
December 5th 2015

Air It Out's Austin Velie (3) with the one handed catch in the back of the endzone for the Interception. It would be week four of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football league and the match would feature Air It Out and Rand Hill Painters. It would be a close game throughout and Air it Out would take a 20-13 lead into the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same and the teams would tie at 20 for the half giving Air It Out the 40-33 victory. #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #12 Potsdam State Bears

Plattsburgh State's Dillan Fox (21) comes in on the breakaway and slides across for the shot that would be put in on the scramble. It would be a battle of North Country rivals with extra on the line as they both came in undefeated and ranked in the top 15. As #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host #12 Potsdam State Bears. The Cardinals get the quick 1-0 leas as Nick Belger would score on the power play at 4:04 of the first. The Cardinals would extend it to 2-0 on Cole Stalard's power play goal at 6:05. The in the last minute of the period the Cardinals would strike twice in seven seconds with goals from Dillan Fox and Kevin Emmerling to take a 4-0 lead after one. When the teams came out for the second period the Cardinals would score again at the 4:17 mark to make it 5-0 on Cole Stallard's second goal of the night. Then just over a minute later the Bears would finally get on the board to make it 5-1 and thats where the game would stay til the third period. In the third period the Cardinals would get two more goal to put the icing on the cake from Cole Stallard's (hat trick goal) and Ayrton Valente to secure the 7-1 victory. In the winning effort Spencer Finney would make 21 saves as the Cardinals go to 6-0 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Clarkson Golden Knights

Plattsburgh's Eli Bryant (3) takes down the lane and goes around the defender and lays it off the window for the score. It would be the opening game of the season for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and they would take on North Country foe Clarkson Golden Knights. The Cardinals would take there time getting going in the first half as the Golden Knights would work there way to a ten point lead in the first five minutes. Then the Cardinals would find there stride and work it to a ten point lead at the break at 44-34. Then in the second half the Cardinals would keep there game going and win the half 39-33 and cruise to the 83-67 victory. In the winning effort the Cardinals start the season at 1-0 and Edward Correra would lead the way with 15 points. Gallery

New York State Class D Quarterfinals:
Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Mayfield Panthers

Chateauay's Savanna Fiorino (33) with the tip shot at the net over the defender for the point. It would be the quarterfinals of the New York State Class D Volleyball and would feature the Chateaugay Bulldogs from section X and the Mayfield Panthers from section II. The Bulldogs would take the 1-0 lead by winning the opening the set. Although the Panthers would come back with a fury and win the next three games and win the match 3-1. With the lose the Bulldogs season would come to end short of there goal but still had a great season. Gallery

Section VII Class C Championship:
#1 Saranac Lake Red Storm Vs #2 Au Sable Valley Patriots

Thr Au Sable Valley Patriots are crowned the 2015 Section VII Class C champions. It would be the Saranac Lake Red Storm and the Au Sable Valley Patriots for the Section VII Class Championships. The Red Storm would get the early lead in the first quarter at 7-0. Then in the second quarter they would extend the lead to 13-0. Although when the teams would come back the Patriots would make there present know as they would score in the third to make it 13-7. Then midway through the fourth quarter they would tie the game up at 13. Then with under two minutes remaining the Patriots would score the eventual game winning touchdown to secure the 20-13 victory. With the Patriots move on the New York State Playoffs where they will get the Gouvenour Wildcats in the first round. Gallery

Section VII Class B Championship
#1 Peru Indians Vs #2 Beekmantown Eagles

Sack

Beekmantown's Jacob Lafountain (55) and Steven Sweeny (50) with the bone crushing sack on Peru's Jordan Guay (11). It would be arch rivals the Peru Indians and the Beekmantown meeting up for yet another Section VII Class C Championship. There would be no scoring until Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) would get a 8 yard touchdown at 3:19 of the second to make it 7-0 eagles. The Eagles would extend there lead to 14-0 when Alex Archer would score another rushing touchdown. Then in the final minute of the half the Eagles would break the game open a 50 yard run by Tyler Myers (2) to make it 21-0 at the break. Then in the first two minutes of the second half the Eagles would extend the lead to 27-0 on pick 6. Then in the closing minutes of the third quarter the Indians would get on the broad with a Dakpta Arquette run to make it 27-7 after three. Then in the opening minute of the fourth the Eagles would extend the lead to 34-7 on another running score. The Indians though would come right back down and score on another Dakota Arquette running touchdown. Although the Eagles would answer back with Tyler Myers second 50 yard rushing touchdown to make it 40-13. Then to put the icing on the cake the Eagles would get one more score to secure the 47-13 victory. With the win the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the New York State Playoffs and will face the Malone Huskies in the first round. Gallery

#1 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs #4 Brushton-Moria Panthers

Chateaugay's Kayla Legacy (4) with the fingertip spike down the line for the point. It would be the semi-finals of the Section X Class D Tournament. The matchup would feature the #1 Chateaugay Bulldogs and the #4 Brushton-Moria Panthers. It would be a matchup that the Bulldogs would be in complete control of and get the straight set victory (24-13, 24-6, 24-16). With the win the Chateaugay Bulldogs move to the championship and will face off with the Potsdam Sandstoners as they go for the title. Gallery

Crown Point Panthers over the Elizabethtown-Lewis/Westport Griffins 4-1, in Section 7 Boys Soccer. Hudson Stevens, 22, for ELW scored at 13:16 into the game, no assist. In the 2nd half, ELW would score three more times: 1st by #9 Joel Morris, assisted by #17 Coldon Blades at 46:50; 2nd by #4 Trey Hulbert, assisted by #14 Thomas Mero at 50:00; 3rd by Mero, assisted by #12 Schuyler Kurth at 74:30. Elizabethtown-Lewis/Westport Griffins over the Moriah Vikings 2-1 in Section 7 Girls Soccer. Ellie Storey, 15, for ELW in the 1st half at 11:32, assisted by #1 Emma Disogra. Tess Andrade, #11, for ELW in the 2nd half at 40:38, no assist was on a corner kick. Moriah would score there loan goal by Jordan Speshock, 24, at 71:08 assisted by Juliette Becker, 18. The Griffins had 16 shots on goal, 5 saves, 6 corner kicks, 3 fouls and 0 offsides. The Vikings had 20 shots on goal, 12 saves, 8 corner kicks, 6 foul and 4 offsides. Highlights will be posted soon. Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Brushton-Moria Panthers

Chateaugay's Kim Reville (5) with the kill over the Brushton-Moria Panthers blocker for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would match up with the Brushton-Moria Panthers in a Section X East Division match. It would be the last regular season home game for the Bulldogs who would honor there six seniors before the game. It would be a match that Chateaugay Bulldogs would be in complete control from start to finish winning the match in just over thirty minutes in straight sets 25-14, 25-4, 25-16. With the win the Bulldogs go to 13-2 on the season while the Panthers fall to 3-12. Gallery

Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Woodstock Wasps

Plattsburgh's Jordan Moore (4) lowers the boom for the shoulder tackle on the Woodstock running back going for the edge. It would be week 6 of section 7 football and the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Woodstock Wasps in non league action. The game would not start off the greatest as the Hornets would be down 24-6 at the half and lose there starting quarterback on a questionable targeting call. In the second half the Hornets offense would come to life and the defense would step up there game and win the half 24-14. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Woodstock Wasps would get the 38-30 victory. In the losing effort getting the scores on the night would John Carroll (1) Sean Ahern (2) and Brady Pennington (3) as the Hornets fall to 1-6 as the head in the last game of the season against Ticonderoga. Eric Montana, 16, for Lake Placid scored at 13:27 into the game, no assist was a direct kick; ELW lone goal was by #9 Joel Morris, also no assist and also was on a direct kick at 14:42 in the 1st. In the 2nd half, both teams would fight it out until it was too dark to play an overtime and a draw was declared. Plattsburgh Hornets @ Ausable Valley Patriots

Plattsburgh's (34) with the stiff arm on Ausable Valley defender as he goes around the end going for the first down. It would be week four the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season and this week we would feature the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Ausable Valley Patriots in action. The Patriots would take the 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter on the short run. The game would stay there all the way til the fourth quarter when the Patriots would extend the lead to 13-0 on the touchdown pass to (14). Then with 5 minutes left in the game the Hornets would get on the board with the touchdown pass to (84) to cut the deficit in half at 13-7. With the win the Patriots go to 2-2 as they head into the off week. As for the Hornets they will fall to 0-4 on the season and will be headed to Peru next week to take on the Indians. Gallery

Elizabethtown-Lewis/Westport Griffins over the Johnsburg Jaguars 6-2 in Section 7 Girls Soccer. Annette Stephens, #17 Griffins, started the game off with a goal, assisted by Chloe Mitchell, #3, at 1:13. Megan Bacon, #6 Jaguars, would counter with 2 goals: the first at 13:01 and the second at 33:37 both assisted by Khaleah Cleveland, #5, giving the Jaguars an early lead 2-1. In the 2nd half, the Griffins would go on an assault of goals scoring 5 in the half: Mitchell would have 2 of them: 52:27 assisted by Ellie Storey, #15; and at 58:00, unassisted. Storey get her only goal of the game at 61:00, assisted by Mitchell. Hannah Schwoebel, #2, would score the 5 goal of the game for the Griffins at 63:09 assisted by Storey. Megan Ploufe, #12 Griffins, would score the last goal of the game at 72:38 assisted by Storey. Bacon would have 2 goals in the game and Cleveland would have 2 assists in the game for Jaguars. For the Griffins, Mitchell would have 2 goals and 2 assists; while Storey had 1 goal and 2 assists. The Griffins had 24 shots on goal, 8 saves, 6 corner kicks, 2 fouls and 2 offsides. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would make there annual apperance at the Saranac Chiefs Volleyball tournament they would be apart of 12 teams that participate from section 7 and 10. Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Beekmantown Eagles
September 18 2015

Plattsburgh's Dylan Clay (18) with the crashing hit on the Beekmantown running back (4) as he tried to take it to the open field for the big gain. It would be week 3 of the CVAC football season and the match up would feature a pair of winless teams as the Plattsburgh Hornets and Beekmantown Eagles would enter at 0-2. The Eagles would take the 6-0 lead on a short run for the score. Then in the second quarter they would pull away as they would score twice including a two point conversation to take a 21-0 lead into the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Hornets would make some adjustments as the two teams would play even ball. The Hornets would get on the board midway through the fourth on Quaran run to make it 21-6. The hornets would have some other chances but were unable to capitalize on them and the Eagles would hold on for the 21-6 victory. With the win the Eagles go to 1-2 while the Hornets fall to 0-3 on the season. Gallery

Saranac Chiefs Vs Ticonderoga Sententials

Saranac's Brandon Velie (3) with the leaping catch across the middle for the first down. It would be the opening week of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would feature the Saranac Chiefs and Ticonderoga Sentinels. It would be a game that the Sentinels would be in control from start to finish. The Sentinels would have the 42-0 lead at the half. In the second half the Sentinels would cruise and win the half 19-6 as the Chiefs would get a late score to avoid the shutout as the Sentinels would get the 61-6 victory. In the losing effort the Chiefs start the season 0-1 while the Sentinels are 1-0. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Sussex Stags

It would be week 8 of the Empire Football League season and it would feature the Plattsburgh North Stars and the Sussex Stags. It would be a defensive battle throughout the night. The Stars would take the early 2-0 lead on a safety as the Stags fumbled the ball out of the endzone. Then the Stags would answer back later in the quarter with a running score to take a 6-2 lead. The game would remain there til the 3rd quarter when the North Stars would add a feild goal to make it 6-5. The Stars would be driving late in the game and were going in when a fumble occurred on the 13 yard line with the Stags would kneel out the clock and get the 6-5 win. With the lose the North Stars fall to 3-5 while the Stags go to 5-3 on the season. Gallery

Modifieds Jamie LaFountain (20x) and Bucko Branham (20) go side by side through turn 1 and 2 as they battle for a top 3 stop in the feature. It would be another week of racing at Airborne Park Speedway as the Modifieds would have twin features as part of the Yando's Big M Supermarket night. With all the crazyness that went on the week before the drivers would be a little tamer this time around. Although there would still be some great battles and close racing throughout the evening. The big winners on the evening would be Dale O'Neil Mini-Modifieds, Richie Turner Renegades, and in the Modifieds it would be Bucko Branham and Codie Aubin Gallery

Mini-Modifieds Eddie Bresstte (15) and Tanner Carey (94) touch entering turn one and start spinning togetgher through the turn. It would be week nine of racing at Airborne Park Speedway and it would be Ernie's Discount Tools night featuring the Renegade 100. There would be lots of good battles throughout the evening starting in the heat races right up until the feature. The big winners on the night would be Kris Clark in the Mini-Modifieds, Jason Drugan in the Modifieds and then in the main event of the evening it would be Josh Terry taking the Renegade 100. Store Tavern's Shane Perrotte (2) puts the tag on Furgeson Fire's Haydin Fountain trying to stretch it into a double. It would be the Store Tavern taking on Furgerson Fire in Adirondack Slow Pitch League action. The Store Tavern would take the quick 2-0 lead in the first. The game would remain there til the 4th when the Store Ravern would get five more and take a convincing 7-0 lead. Furgeson Fire would try and make a rally in the sixth but it would go for not as they would only get four and the Store Tavern would hold on for the 7-4 victory. Gallery

Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Glens Falls Greenjackets

Plattsburgh's Jared Croy's with the leaping interception along the sidelines on the overthrow. It would be week four of the Empire Football League season and it would be the battle for the Mayors Cup as the Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Glens Falls Greenjackets. The Northstars would get on the board quick and take 7-0 lead on the third play of the game on the Rascoe to Bouyea connection and the game would stay there til 2 minutes into the second quarter and make it 14-0. Then about halfway through the second quarter the Jackets would get on the board with a deep touchdown pass to make it 14-7. Then just before the half the greenjackets would make a short field goal to make it 14-10. In the second half the lone score of the half would come on Elisa Parks 1 yard run in the fourth quarter to secure the 20-10 victory as the Northstars go to 3-1 on the season. Gallery

Airborne Kart Racing begins with all 6 divisions racing. Junior 1 Rookie Wyatt Dragoon, #54 from Plattsburgh, NY picking up the win and Ryan Bevins, #7 from Colchester, VT with the Junior 1 Pro win. Junior 2 Rookie Feature winner was Joshua Bleaux, #22 from Plattsburgh, NY and Junior 2 Pro Feature winner Tanner Forbes, #29 from Jay, NY. Open Lightweight Feature was Tobias Mason, #77 from Peru, NY and Open Heavyweight Feature Pat Patterson, #9 from Lake Placid, NY.

At the end of the week Wyatt Dragoon pulled away from Colby Waite in the Junior 1 Rookie point standings: Draggoon with 328 and Waite with 310. While in Junior 1 Pro Ryan Bevins pulled away from Nathaniel Guay: Bevins at 319 and Guay at 307 points. In Junior 2 Rookie Ethan Worley pulled away from Ethan Baggs: Worley at 322 and Baggs at 315 points. In Junior 2 Pro Tanner Forbes has a 30 point lead over Brayden Rabtoy: Forbes at 328 and Rabtoy at 298. In Open Lightweight Tobias Mason has a three point lead over Curtis Lamere: Mason at 319 and Lamere at 316 points. Finally Open Heavyweight Pat Patterson pulled away from Alex Laplante: Patterson with 302 and Laplante with 291 points. The highlights are coming soon.

Modifieds Danny Sullivan (3) goes side by side with Ryan McClean (69)through turns 1 and 2 as they battle for the second position. It would be hometown heroes night at Airborne Park Speedway along with double points for all divisions. With there being double points on the line you could tell the drivers were putting some extra effort out there to make that championship push. When it was all said and done Kris Clark would win the Mini Modifieds as Dale O'Neil was unable to pass post race tech. In the renegades the winner would be Robert Gordon. Then in the main event the Modifieds winner would be a popular one with the crowd as Danny Sullivan would get his first career modified feature victory. Gallery

Open Lightweight Feature was Curtis Lamere, #91 from Burke, NY and Open Heavyweight Feature Brian Kentile, #7X from Saranac Lake, NY.

At the end of the week Wyatt Draggoon pulled away from Colby Waite in the Junior 1 Rookie point standings: Draggoon with 273 and Waite with 258. While in Junior 1 Pro Ryan Bevins and Nathaniel Guay are just four points from each other: Bevins at 264 and Guay at 260 points. In Junior 2 Rookie Ethan Worley leads by only 4 over Ethan Baggs: Worley at 264 and Baggs at 260 points. In Junior 2 Pro Tanner Forbes has a 27 point lead over Brayden Rabtoy: Forbes at 273 and Rabtoy at 246. In Open Lightweight Tobias Mason has a two point lead over Curtis Lamere: Mason at 265 and Lamere at 263 points. Finally Open Heavyweight Alex Laplante and Pat Patterson are tied at 247 points. PASS Racers Brent Dragon (55) and Joey Doiron (73) battle for the lead in the PASS 200 as part of the International 500. It would be the third edition of the International 500 and this year it would feature the American Canadian Tour and Pro All Star Series in 200 lap races along with the Revstar Slingshots. There would be 44 cars between the two series with some drivers racing in both. The winner for the farthest haul would go to Tate Folgeman who came from North Carolina for the PASS race. There would be some good competition throughout the dayt with tight racing at the top all day long. The drivers were up on the wheel with the big 10,000 to win on the line. Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Watertown Red & Black

Plattsburgh's Tre Bucci (1) stumbles and falls but recoveries nicely to make the overhead catch. It would be week 2 of the Empire Football League and it would pit a rematch of last years championship as the Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red Black. The game would start go the North Stars as Harry Rascoe would connect with Tory Bouyea for a 62 yard score to make it 7-0. Then with four minutes remaining in the quarter Watertown's Curtis Dukes would get the running score to tie the game at seven. The North Stars would regain the lead with just three minutes left in the half when Tre Bucci would make a juggling catch in the endzone for the 14-7 lead at the break. Then seven minutes into the second half the Stars would score again with Troy Bouyea to make it a 20-7 game. From there on out the defense would shut the Red Black down and the North Stars would hold on for the 20-7 victory. It would be the 2015 Monster Truck Mania edition with the Black Stallion, Weapon 1, Higher Education, and Overkill Evolution. As part of the show would be Burnout Contest, Reserve Races, Specator Racers and Flagpole races. There would be a good crowd on story that would be entertained with a two hour show. Mini-Modifieds CJ LaVair (4) and Kris Clark (77ny) drag race to the checkered flag in the first mini-modified feature the win would go to CJ LaVair. It would be week 6 of racing at Airborne Park Speedway and it would be double features for the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades and twin 50's for the Modifieds. There would be some intense racing throughout the evening including a photo finish and lots of three wide racing but for the most part it would be all clean racing. The feature winners on the evening would be CJ LaVair and Kris Clark in the Mini-Modifieds, in the Renegades it would be Tylor Terry and Brent Jarvis. As for the main event the Modifieds it would be Bucko Branham getting the first one with the bump run with 2 laps to go on Danny Sullivan and Vincent Queenville would get the second feature. The action on the track would be fast and hard charging throughout the night with a couple crashes on tap. It would be week four of racing at Airborne Park Speedway as part of Peru Federal Credit Union/Econo Lodge Double feature night as all divisions would have two features. It would be some of intense racing on the night as teams were fighting for the extra points and money. With that being said there would be a couple of wrecks and some damaged cars on the night. First was finishing up Week 1 action with Junior 1 Rookie Wyatt Dragoon, #21 from Plattsburgh, NY picking up the win and Nathaniel Guay, #55 from Moors, NY with the Junior 1 Pro win. Junior 2 Rookie winner was Ethan Baggs, #37 from Plattsburgh, NY and Junior 2 Pro winner Tanner Forbes, #29 from Jay, NY. Open Lightweight winner was Curtis Lamere, #91 from Burke, NY and Open Heavyweight winner Brian Fagan, #27 from Keeseville, NY.

In Week 2 action: Colby Waite, #18 from Burlington, VT picks up the win in Junior 1 Rookie action and Ryan Bevins, #7 from Colchester, VT with the win in Junior 1 Pro action. In Junior 2 rookie action Ethan Baggs picks up his second win while in Junior 2 Pro Tanner Forbes picks up his second win of the day. In Open Lightweight action Curtis Lamiere picks up his second win of the day and in Open Heavyweight action Pat Patterson, #9 from Lake Placid, NY picks up the win.

Renegade Ryan Boutin (28) makes contact with Jim Bushey (11) as they enter the first corner and the back tire comes right off the car as the sparks fly. It would be the third weekend of racing at Airborne and the first in a month because of rain outs. One this night we would have the Plattsburgh Ford/Aaron Night Renegade 100 along with the Modifieds, Late Models and Mini Modifieds. It would be some good racing through out the evening with a lot of fender banging and some crashes. As far as the features would go Chris Lavair would win the Mini Modifieds. Then next on tap would be the Late Models and Bobby Therein and Josh Masterson would fight it out for most of the race with Bobby Therein getting the slight win. Then next up would be the Modifieds in a race would be hard to get started with many early race caution once things got settled down Jamie LaFountain would earn his first career victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening the Renegade 100 there would be nineteen cars that would take the green flag but when the checkered flag flew there would only be eleven cars left through the carnage the eventual winner would be Jason McClatchie to get career win number one. It would be a mid week battle between the Peabody Padres and Adam's Glass Dodgers at Lefty Wilson field. The Padres would jump out to the quick 1-0 lead after the first inning. They would another run in the third inning to make it 2-0. Then in the fourth inning the Dodgers would get on the board but the Padres would two more runs to make it 4-1. Then in the sixth both teams would score again the Dodgers would get another single run while the Padres would add three and make it 7-2. In the bottom of the third the Padres would get on the board to make it 3-1. Then in the fourth the Padres would have a big inning plating four runs to take the 5-3 lead. Three wide racing during the Modified feature race between Danny Sullivan (3), Bucko Branham, and Eric Lurizone (28) as they come off of turn two. It would be week two of racing at Airborne Park Speedway with the Mini-Modifieds, Renegades, Modifieds and the fewature event the ACT Bill McBride Spring Green 115 presented by Interestate Batteries. The race event was originally scheduled for the night before but was moved back cause of bad weather. The dricers would come out to play and play hard on Sunday as the only walk away winner would be Dale O'Neill in the Mini-Modifieds. The in the second feature of the day it would be Leon Gonyo taking the checkered flag as he was chased hard by Nick Heywood through out the race. The next up would be the Renegades features and that would feature a couple of late race restarts and would see Josh Terry hold on against Shawn Duquette at the finish line for a photo finish victory. Then it would be time for the main event of the afternoon the ACT Spring Green 115 and it would be a two man race between Joey Polewarczyk and Patrick Laperle and the progressive banking would allow them to go side by side for many laps with the eventual win going to Joey Polewarczyk. Then in the second inning the hitmen would explode for ten runs and take the 12-1 lead and from there the route was on. It would be the season opener at Airborne Park Speedway with the Late Models, Renegades, Mini-Modified, with the feature event being the Modified 100 lapper. There would a total of 64 cars that would show up throughout the four divisions in front of a packed house. The first feature of the night would be the mini-mods and Tyler Irwin would get the win and score his first career victory as he would pass Dave O'Neill with 5 laps to go. The second feature of the night would be the Late Models 25 lapper at the front it would be Bobby Therein and Josh Masterson battling for the top spots the first half but Bobby Therein would prevail and capture the win. Then on tap would be the Renegades 30 lapper would be Richie Turner who would lead the race from wire to wite. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening the Modified FedEx 100 Nick Heywood would start on the pole and get the win. Although it would not be without a hot battle from Bucko Branham would be on the bumper the whole time until a late caution came out and Branham ran out of feul under the caution closing out the top three would be Greg Atkins and Jason Drugan. The game would stay there all the way till the third period when the Cardinaks would extend the lead to 2-0 on Mellisa Sheeran's power play goal at the 8:06 mark of the period. It would be a speed game throughout and very phyiscal underneath the Bulldogs would have the slim 15-14 lead at the end of the first quarter. It would be a battle of SUNYAC Conference foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Cortland State Red Dragons at Memorial Hall. The game would be tight all the way throughout the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have the offense working in the first half as they would have the 28-24 lead at the break. In the second half it would be flipped and the Dragons would win the half 31-27 to force overtime with game locked at 55. In the extra minutes the Red Dragons would be to much for the Cardinals as they win it 13-10 and get the 68-65 victory. It would be a battle of a couple of the top teams in Section X East Division as the #5 Chateaugay Bulldogs would face off with the St. Regis Falls Saints. It would be a game that would be tight in the first quarter as the Bulldogs would have the 20-15 lead at the end first quarter In the second quarter the Bulldogs would start to pull away as they would win the quarter 14-6 and have a 34-21 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would take complete control as they would win the quarter 28-9 and have a 62-30 lead headed into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Saints would not give up the fight and win the last quarter 19-16. Although it would not nearly be enough as the Bulldogs would get the 78-49 victory. It would be a battle of top 5 teams in Week seven of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League as #2 CR Tunes & Photography Raptors would meet up with #4 G.C. Warriors. It would be a game that would be the tail of two halves as the GC Warriors would have a big 23-12 lead at the break and were in control. Although in the second half the Raptors would find there stride as they would out score the Warriors 36-24 and would get the 48-47 victory as time would expire. With the win CR Tunes & Photography would go to 6-1 while G.C. Warrior would fall to 3-4 on the season. Gallery

#6 Dark Knights Vs #14 Morrisonville Midshipmen

It would be week 7 of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit #6 Dark Knight and #14 Morrisonville Midshipmen. It would be a game that the Dark Knights would be in control form the start as they would have a 30-6 lead at the break. In the second half it would be more of the same with a little better fight from the Midshipmen as the Dark Knights would win it 42-18 to give them the 72-24 victory. #4 Beekmantown Eagles Vs La Salle Cadets

Beekmantown's Kyle Constanty (44) with the flick of the wrist beats the goal on the glove side for the goal. It would be a non league match up at the Plattsburgh State Field House as the #4 Beekmantown Eagles would meet up with the La Salle Cadets. It would be a game that Beekmantown would be in control from the drop off the puck. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the night from Ryan Waterbury at 6:52 of the first to make it 1-0. Then just over a minute later they would extend the lead to 2-0 on Chris Wawrzynski goal. Then at 10:31 mark of the first the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then with a couple minutes left in the period the Cadets would get on the board with a goal by Logan DiScanio to make it 3-1 Eagles after one. In the second period Beekmantown's Josh Barriere would score twice about two minutes apart to make it 5-1 after two periods. Then in the third period the Eagles would contuine there offfensive onslaught Kyle Constanty would score at 2:28 to make it 6-1 Eagles. Then just 15 seconds later the Cadets Zach Watkins would score to make it 6-2. Then just over three minutes later Eagles Kyle Constanty would score his second of the night to make it 7-2. Then at the 8:32 mark of the third Kyle Constanty would finish off the hat trick to make it 8-2. Then at the 9 minute mark Mike Parent would get in on act and make it 9-2. The Cadets would add a late one from Sam Brendesse to make it 9-3. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would get the 9-3 victory. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 9-4 and take the 22-16 lead. In the fourth quarter the Larries would have no answer the Bulldogs would win the quarter 10-4 to take the 32-20 win. It would be a non sectional matchup as the #3 Chateaugay Bulldogs would travel to Beekmantown and tangle with the Eagles. It would be a match up between two evenly matched teams that would not see the lead get over at all during the contest. The Eagles would have the 14-8 lead after the first quarter. The Eagles would also win the second quarter 15-12 and take a 29-20 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back from the third quarter the Eagles would take the quarter slightly 12-10 and have a 41-30 lead headed into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Bulldogs would go to the full court press and the Eagles would have a hard time with it and the Bulldogs would win the quarter 21-12. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would hold on for the 53-50 victory. The game would stay there til mid way through the second period when Saranac's Alez Zurio would score on the scramble in front of the net to make it 1-1. It would be a battle of top 15 teams as the #7 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #15 Amherst Jeffersons. There would be no scoring throughout the game and overtime so the game went in the record books at 0-0 tie. Although because of the tournament there was shootout to determine the winner and the Jeffersons would get the 1-0 win. The #7 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host New England College Pilgrims in the Semi-Finals of the Cardinal Classic. The Cardinals would waste little time taking the 1-0 lead on Paul Fregeau's goal at 3:09 of the first period. Then just over three minutes later Paul Fregeau would score again to make it 2-0 Cardinals. Then at the 10:17 mark of the first Cardinal's Aryton Valente would score to make it 3-0 at the first intermission. The game would stay there til the 13:47 mark of the second period when Cardinal's Josh Koerner would score to make it 4-0. The game would stay there til the 7:43 mark of the third period when Paul Fegeau would finish of the scoring and hat trick on the night.
