Northeastern Clinton Cougars Vs Pelham Pelicans

Northeastern Clinton's Nick Rowe (9) misses on the open net on the tapper right in front. It would be the second game of the Beekmantown Hockey Tournament and it would pit the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the Pelham Pelicans. The Pelicans would waste littletime showing why they were in the final four a year ago as they would score six goals in the first period coming from Nat Heintz, Gibson Smith (twice), Nick Davidow (twice), Stefan Miklakos. The Cougars would score in the final two minutes of the period to make it 6-1 on Devyn Sample's goal. In the second period the teams would trade goals to make it 7-2 after two period. Scoring would be Dayton Roberts for the Cougars and Ben Hurd for the Pelicans. In the third period the Pelicans would add three for insurance as they would cruise to the 10-2 victory. It would be a section VII clash at the Field House between the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the Beekmentown Eagles. The Eagles would draw first blood on the goal by Josh Barriere at 4:25 of the first. The game would stay there all the way till the 7:25 mark of the second period when the Eagles would score two short handed goals in six seconds from Josh Barriere and Ryan Waterbury to make it 3-0 lead. Malone Huskies Vs Norwood-Norfolk Icemen

The Malone Huskies would meet up with the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen in Section X Division 2 action. The Icemen would waste little time in a taking the 1-0 lead at the three minute mark of the first period from Colby Munson. The game would stay there til 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29 the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power play goal to make it 7-2. As the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers. The game would remain scoreless until just 26 seconds into the second period when Michael Radisa would make it 1-0 Cardinals. The Lakers woulud come back and tie the game up at Michael Montagna goal at 4:45 to make it 1-1. Then just under a minute later the Lakers would take the 2-1 lead on Andrew Barton's power play goal. The Cardinals would tie the game back up just two minutes later on Michael Radisa second goal of the night at 2-2. Then just about a minute late Alex Brenton would give the Cardinals the 3-2 lead.
