Then just two minutes later Danielle Charland wowould strike again to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 26th minute Hannah Cook would get in action with a goal to end the first at 4-0 Bulldogs. In the 47th minute the Larries would get on the broad to make it 4-1. The Larries would strike again in 70th minute to make it 4-2 Bulldogs. Although in the 72nd minute the Bulldogs would end comeback the Larries had as Rachel Young would score to make it 5-2 Bulldogs. With the win the Bulldogs remain undefeated on the season at 7-0-1. Beekmantown Eagles Vs Peru Indians

Peru's Anthony Gallo (10) fights through the arm tackle of Cameron Garceau (1) to reach the endzone for the touchdown. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Peru Indians in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference. The game would be close are the first the first quarter the teams trading touchdowns but the Indians would miss the extra point giving the Eagles the 7-6 at the end of one. Then in the second quarter the Indians would get the only score and go for two to take a 14-7 lead into the break. Then the teams would come back for the second half they would be fired up and there would be more hard hitting. The Indians would out score the Eagles 22-7 thanks to some favorable officiating. The highlight of the day would come when each team would have a return for touchdown Zane Bazzano for the Indians and Cameron Garceau for the Eagles. With the win the Indians stay undefeated at 4-0 as they head to Saranac next well the Eagles fall to 2-2 and are on the road at Moriah. Gallery

The Eagles would take the lead at 2:53 mark of the first quarter on Cameron Garceau's touchdown reception. Then just over two minutes later the Eagles would strike again on Devin Fessette two yard touchdown run to make it 14-0. Then shortly into the second quarter the Eagles would strike again this time on Justin Stevens two yard run to make it 20-0 Eagles. The Eagles would strike one more time before the half ended on Devin Fessette second score of the night to make it 27-0 at the half. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same Justin Stevens would get his second touchdown of night six minutes in to make it 34-0. Then just three minutes later the Eagles would strike again with Justin Stevens third touchdown of the night to make it 41-0. Chad Stalter would strike again in the 16th minute to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Then in the 35th he would complete the hat trick to make it 3-0. Then in the 53rd minute Chad Slalter would add a fourth goal to make it 4-0. Then in the 59th minute the Bulldogs would score again this time though by Reid Laplante to make it 5-0. Then in 71st minute the Saints would break the shutout with a goal by Lewis Goodrow to make it a 5-1 Bulldogs win. Then they would strike again on there next drive on a long Touchdown pass to Dexter Geohagan to make it 14-0. Then the remainder of the first half the Greenjackets would charge back getting 10 points to make it 14-10 North Stars at intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the North Stars would extend there lead to 20-10 on Chris Fish's touchdown. The North Stars would strike again on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the night to make it 26-10. The Greenjackets would do there best to try and get the win at the end scoring twice but the North Stars would hold on for 26-24 victory. The Keene Beavers won in a tight game against the Westport Eagles 3-1 in MVAC action. #11 Hannah Whitney had two goals and 1 assist in the game. In the 1st half #6 B. Russell dribbled through two defenders and scored at 5:05 unassisted! Later on in the 1st half #13 Sara Gagliandi score at 11:23 assisted by #11 Whitney. Twenty minutes later Whitney would score her first goal at 33:15 assisted by #12 Elaina Smith. At half time the Beavers would lead 2-1. With only about 10 minutes left in the game Whitney would score again at 28:54 assisted by #21 Naomi Peduzzi. This would be the Eagles final nail in the coffin as the Beavers would pull off the win. NAC Bobcats dominated the Westport Eagles 6-0 in MVAC action. Ryan Manion for Bobcats had a hat trick and Dylan Miller had 2 assists in the game. In the 1st half Manion scored at 16:25 assisted by Alden Kerr. Middle of the 2nd half, Scott Kellett scored at 14:26 assisted by Dylan Miller. Manion had a yellow card for an unsportman like conduct called against him at 21:16. Then two near back to back goals, both from Manion at 28:21 assisted by Miller, and 29:31. But that isn't the end of scoring by the Bobcats, they would pick up two more goals near the end of the game: one by Kerr at 37:28 assisted by Dan Huff; and Dustin Dommic at 38:47. The Bobcats had 16 shots on goal, 5 saves and 13 corner kicks while the Eagles had 9 shots on goal with 10 saves and only 2 corner kicks. The highlights are available on the video.

The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would have a spaghetti dinner to benefit there Fire Chief Stan Russell to help with the medical bills. There would be around 250 people that would come through out the benefit. There would also be a 50/50 drawing along with a Chinese auction. Saranac Chiefs Vs Au Sable Valley Patriots

Saranac's John Maye (26) goes low on Au Sable Valley's John Goodnough (7) and takes him out of out bounds for the stop. The Saranac Chiefs would open up the season at home against the Au Sable Valley Patriots. The Chiefs would take the 7-0 lead with 1:46 left in the 1st quarter when Ethan Goslin would find Lance Hackett in the endzone for the touchdown. Although the Patriots would come right back and score on there next drive to make the score 7-6. On the in suing kickoff the Chiefs would cough up the ball and the Patriots would score. Then with 5:02 left in the half the Chiefs would regain the lead at 14-12 on John Maye touchdown run. Then just over a minute later the Chiefs would extend there lead to 20-14 when John Maye would score on the touchdown run off a Patriot turnover. The Patriors would answer back though before the end of the half to tie the game at 20-20 at the break. When the teams came out of the break the Chiefs would start to take control of the game and regain the lead on John Maye third touchdown run from the 5 yard line and would get the two point conversion to make it 28-20. Then with the 4th quarter starting the Chiefs would score again behind John Maye to make it 34-20. Just three minutes later the Patriots would race down the field and score on John Goodnough runs to make it 34-28 and get back in the game. Then with 3:30 left the Chiefs would finish the Patriots off on Ethan Goslin's run to make it a 42-28 Chiefs win. Leading the way for the Chiefs in the win would be John Maye with 198 yards and four touchdowns. With the win the Chiefs start the season at 1-0 as they head on the road to Beekmantown for week 2. The Bulldogs would get the scoring started with Danielle Charland's goal in the 12th minute assist to Hannah Cook. Then just five minutes later Brianna Cook would get the unassisted goal to make it 2-0. Then in the 21st minute Danielle Charland would sore her second of the night with the assist going to Katie Beach 3-0. Salmon River would finally get on the broad in the 31st minute on Tstoprnhariio Hearn penalty kick to make it 3-1. The Bulldogs would end the scoring in the 74 minute on Rachel Young's goal assist to Katie Beach (second). The second half would open up with a goal from E. Rascoe assisted by E. Schowoebel. With nearly 10 minutes left in the game H. Schowoebel would put the final nail in the Wildcats coffin with a goal making it 3-0. The win makes the Eagles 1-0 in the regular season while the Wildcats are 0-1. Matt Ferry with Rotten Mean and Nasty twist the front of the tractor as he carries the wheels down the track to the win the Modified Tractor division. The New York State Tractor Pullers would return to the Vermont State Fair for there annual labor day hook. They would have 42 hooks spread over the Super Farm Tractors, Two Wheel Drive Trucks, Modified Tractors and Super Stock Tractors. The event would go one over the threat of rain throughout the day and the overcast sky would make for great horsepower and put on a great show for the fans.
