The only scoring in the game would come in the fourth inning of a two rbi double by Jeff Norton. The Padres would play stellar defense through the day to keep the shutout in tack. In the winning effort Frank Brogna would strike out six while going the complete game for the win. Airborne Speedway Padres Vs Fourth Ward Athletics

Airborne Speedway's Zack Meyers (27) slides in head first at the plate and scores as the Athletics catcher loses the ball. The Airborne Speedway Padres would defeat Fourth Ward Athletics 10-2. The game would start at Saranac High School where they played the top of the first. Then the rains would come and cause a hour long rain delay. Where the feild was determined to be unplayable so the game was moved to South Acres in Plattsburgh. The game would remain close through the openning six with Padres getting singles runs in the 2nd, 4th and 5th and Athletics would get one in the third to make it 3-1. Then in late innings the Padres bats would come alive getting 7 runs in the last three innings with the big blow coming from Joey Painters three run homer. With the win Padres advance to Semi-Finals where they will play either the Expos or Miners. Gallery

The game would start of well for the Padres as they would take the 1-0 lead after the first. Then in the second they would get four more on a grand slam from Mark Eggleston to take the 5-0 lead. From there on out the Timberjaxxs would get fourteen unaswered runs. The big dagger in the heart would come in the third when they would score nine runs as the Padres pitches were having problems located the plate. The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a doubleheader over the Fourth Ward Athletics by scores of 15-0 and 14-11. In game one the Athletics would have no answer for Matt Rivers has would go the complete game striking out three and giving up just two hits. The Padres would score early and often as they would get two in the first, one in second to make it 3-0. Then in the third the Padres would explode for five runs including a three run homer from Joey Painter to make it 8-0. Then in the fifth the Padres would finish it off with a seven spot as the Athletics pitcher was having problems location the plate for the 15-0 final. Then in game two they would trade runs in the first to make it 1-1. The Padres would take the 2-1 lead after two. Then in the third A's would come back and tie the game at 3. Then in the fourth the Padres would take 10-5 lead on the a seven run inning on the strength of Nick Derochers and Mark Eggleston's back to back home runs. In the fifth the A's would trim the lead to two runs at 11-9 on the strength of a four run inning. Then the teams would trade runs over the remaining innings to make the final 14-11 Getting the win in relief was Matt Rivers. The first game of the day would be tight through and the Cardinals would just come up better with the timely hitting. In game 2 the Padres would hold a 6-1 lead heading into the sixth inning and then wheels would just fall off as errors would kill them in the remaining two innings and give up seven runs. Malone's Brsndon Mulverhill (42) slides in safe at second base with the double. The Malone Post 219 would fall to the Hudson Valley Renegades 6-4 in openning game of the Mehan/Turner Tournament. The Renegades would take the 1-0 lead in the first and then in second Malone would tie it up at 1. The game would remain there until the Renegades would get four in the fifth to take the 5-1 lead. Malone would answer back with two in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-3. Then in the sixth the teams would trade runs to make it 6-4. Airborne Speedway Padres Vs Meron's Expos

Airborne Speedway's Nick Derochsers (7) extends completely out to save the ball from going to the outfield. The Airborne Speedway Padres would sweep a double header with the Meron's Expos 9-0 & 12-0. In game 1 it would be close at 2-0 until when the bats would explode for 6 runs to make it 8-0. Then to finish off the game the Padres would add one more to make it 9-0 for the victory. The story of the game would be Frank Brogna as he would go the complete game strike out tweleve and give up no hits for the no hitter. In game two the Padres bats would stay hot as the would get to expos early by getting six in the second and five in the third and finish it off with one in the fourth for the 12-0 win in five innings. Leading the way offensively for Padres would Eric Bell with a home run and Joey Painter with a three hit game. On the mound Matt Rivers would give up just three hits and strike out two. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Beekmentown Eagles 6-5 ton win the 2012 Section VII Class B Championship at Chip Cummings field. The Chiefs would get on the board with a 2 run rbi single by Kasey Favreau for the 2-0 lead. The Eagles would answer bak to tie it in the top of the third at 2. Although in the bottom of third the Chiefs would get four runs to get the 6-2 lead. Then in the fourth inning the Eagles would cut the lead in half at 6-4. Then in the seventh inning the Eagles would get 1 and leave the baseloads as the Chiefs would get the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort Tanner Rascoe would go 6 2/3 while striking out striking out and Ben Weightmen would come into get the last two outs for the save for there first sectional title in 4 years. Saranac's Kasey Favereau (34) release the high fastball for the swining struck one of his five on the day. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 5-2. The Cougars would get the openning shot with two runs in the first to take 2-0 lead. Then over the remaining six innings Kasy Favereau would quite the Cougars and the Chiefs would get five unaswered runs. The would get one back in the third on Brady Burleigh's RBI double to make it 2-1. Then in fourth the big shot would be made on Tanner Rascoe's three run homer to give the Chiefs a 4-2 lead. Then in the sixth inning the Chiefs would add an insurance run on Austin Velie's RBI single. Airborne Speedway's Nick Desroches (7) snags the liner headed for second base. The Airborne Speedway Padres and the 4th Ward Timberjaxxs would split a double header. The Timberjaxxs would have a come from behind win in game 1 7-4. Then in game two the Padres would hold on for the 4-3 victory. In game one the Timberjaxxs would get the early 1-0 lead in the first. The Padres would come back and get three in third to take the 3-1 lead. The Padres would add another in the fifith for the 4-1 lead. The Timberjaxxs would start there comeback by getting one in the sixth to make it 4-2. Then in the seventh inning the wheels would come off for the Padres and the Timberjaxxs bats woke up and they got 5 runs to get the 7-4 win. In the winning effort DJ Barber would go six innings striking five for the victory. In game two the Padres would would get the 4-3 victory with again some late game drama by getting two in the sixth to take the lead. The Flyers would tie it back up with one in the second and third. The Huskie bats would come alive in the fourth with four runs to take the 7-3 lead. The in the sixth they would get one more for the 8-3 lead. Then in the top of seventh errors would cost the Huskies as they would allow the Flyers to tie it up at eight. Then in the bottom of the inning is where the Huskies would pull it up on a walk off single scoring Devan Monette. With the win the Huskies improve to 13-3 on the season. Gallery

The Padres would try to make the late game comeback but it just come up short getting four runs in the last two innings for the 7-5 Miners win.
