The Ticonderoga Sentinels celeberate as the 2012 Section VII Class C champions. It would be the Ticonderoga Sentinels vs Moriah Vikings in the title game at Chip Cummings field. The Sentinels wouldn't leave nothing to chance as they would get 11-0 lead. The Sentinels would single runs in the first and second for the 2-0 lead. Then the Sentinels would open it up with three in thrid for a 5-0 lead to break it open. Then would get a pair in the fourth for the 7-0 lead. Then in the sixth they would put the icing on the cake with four runs for the 11-0 win. In the winning effort Ticonderoga's Tanner Wright would go the distance for the victory for three hit shutout. #1 Saranac Chiefs Vs #2 Beekmentown Eagles

The Saranac Chiefs team pose for there team photo as the 2012 Section VII Class B champions. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Beekmentown Eagles 6-5 ton win the 2012 Section VII Class B Championship at Chip Cummings field. The Chiefs would get on the board with a 2 run rbi single by Kasey Favreau for the 2-0 lead. The Eagles would answer bak to tie it in the top of the third at 2. Although in the bottom of third the Chiefs would get four runs to get the 6-2 lead. Then in the fourth inning the Eagles would cut the lead in half at 6-4. Then in the seventh inning the Eagles would get 1 and leave the baseloads as the Chiefs would get the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort Tanner Rascoe would go 6 2/3 while striking out striking out and Ben Weightmen would come into get the last two outs for the save for there first sectional title in 4 years. #1 Saranac Chiefs Vs #5 Northeastern Clinton Cougars

The Saranac teams all come out to home plate to celeberate Tanner Rascoe go ahead home run in the fourth inning. The Saranac Chiefs would defeat the Northeastern Clinton Cougars 5-2. The Cougars would get the openning shot with two runs in the first to take 2-0 lead. Then over the remaining six innings Kasy Favereau would quite the Cougars and the Chiefs would get five unaswered runs. The would get one back in the third on Brady Burleigh's RBI double to make it 2-1. Then in fourth the big shot would be made on Tanner Rascoe's three run homer to give the Chiefs a 4-2 lead. Then in the sixth inning the Chiefs would add an insurance run on Austin Velie's RBI single. In getting the win for the Chiefs Kasey Favereau would go the distance striking out five, five hits and four walks. With the Chiefs will play wenesday for the Section VII championship. Gallery

Airborne Speedway Padres Vs 4th Ward Timberjaxxs

Airborne Speedway's Chris Markwickia (24) slides in safe at the plate for the winner run in game 2. The Airborne Speedway Padres and the 4th Ward Timberjaxxs would split a double header. The Timberjaxxs would have a come from behind win in game 1 7-4. Then in game two the Padres would hold on for the 4-3 victory. In game one the Timberjaxxs would get the early 1-0 lead in the first. The Padres would come back and get three in third to take the 3-1 lead. The Padres would add another in the fifith for the 4-1 lead. The Timberjaxxs would start there comeback by getting one in the sixth to make it 4-2. Then in the seventh inning the wheels would come off for the Padres and the Timberjaxxs bats woke up and they got 5 runs to get the 7-4 win. In the winning effort DJ Barber would go six innings striking five for the victory. In game two the Padres would would get the 4-3 victory with again some late game drama by getting two in the sixth to take the lead. Then would need to scramble for the seventh to hang on for the 4-3 victory. Gallery

Chateaugay's Katie Secore (7) slides in safe at the plate under the tag of the catcher. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Harrisville Pirates 10-1 in the Class D Quarterfinals. The Pirates would take the early 1-0 lead. Then from the fourth inning on the Bulldogs would get ten unasnwered runs. As they would get five runs in both fourth and sixth innings. In the winning effort Courtney Boyea would go the distance striking out three and giving up four hits. With the win the Bulldogs advance to the semi-finals against the Heuvelton Bulldogs. Gallery

In a battle for first place in the east division the Chateaugay Bulldogs would fall 3-0 to the Colton-Peirpont Colts. The Colts would get single runs in the fourth, fifth and six for the victory. In losing effort Courtney Boyea would go the distance giving up 5 hits and striking out nine. With the lose the Bulldogs finish there season at 10-2 in three way tie for there first division title with Colton-Peirpont and Parishville-Hopkinton. Gallery

Malone Huskies Vs Norwood-Norfolk Flyers

Malone's Brandon Welch (16) takes flight over the sliding Norwood-Norfolk baserunner to contuine the double play. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers 9-8 in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the seventh. The Flyers would open up the scoring with one in the first. Although the Huskies would comeback with three in the bottom to take the 3-1 lead. The Flyers would tie it back up with one in the second and third. The Huskie bats would come alive in the fourth with four runs to take the 7-3 lead. The in the sixth they would get one more for the 8-3 lead. Then in the top of seventh errors would cost the Huskies as they would allow the Flyers to tie it up at eight. Then in the bottom of the inning is where the Huskies would pull it up on a walk off single scoring Devan Monette. With the win the Huskies improve to 13-3 on the season. Gallery

Group shot of everyone that participated in putting on the first ever Ellenburg Center Fire Department Kid's Day including the Guardians of the Ribbon. The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would put on their first kid's day it would be a great had by all with 60 showing up. Throughout the day there kid rides on the fire truck, demonstrations with the fire hoses, fire safety in a smoke house showing kids what to do in case of fire, along with a bouncy house and face painting. The Ellenburg Center Fire Department would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers that helped out and Dunkin Dounts for the donations of coffee and dounts. Gallery

Malone's Morgan Fountain (3) tags out the Ogdensburg base runner on the back end of the double play. The Malone Huskies would defeat the Ogdensburg Blue Devils 7-0. The Huskies would get on the broad in the second to take the 1-0 lead. The bats would come alive in the third though getting four runs. Then they would add single runs in the fourth and fifth to secure the 7-0 win. In the win Annie Sharlow would go the distance allowing only three hits and striking out seven. Chateaugay's Katie Secore (7) slides in hard at the plate jarring the ball loose from Malone's Morgan Fountain (3). The Malone Huskies would defeat the Chateaugay Bulldogs 10-7 in non league action. The teams would trade runs in the openning inning to keep game tied at 1. Then in the second inning the Huskies would answer with three for the 4-1 lead and one in the third for the 5-1 lead. Then in the fourth inning the Bulldogs bats would come alive for five in the top and in the bottom the Huskies would score two to take the lead back at 7-6. Then in the sixth the huskies would open it up at 10-6. The Bulldogs last effort would come up short though as they would get one in the seventh for the 10-7 huskies win. In the winning effort Annie Sharlow would strike out 11 while going the complete game. The Huskies improve there record to 8-4 on the season while the Bulldogs fall to 7-2. Gallery

Airborne Speedway's Joey Painter (14) slides in safe at the plate ahead of the tag. The Padres would split a doubleheader with the Cardinals. The first game would be close through out the Padres would win 6-3 in nine innings. The Cardinals would get the early 1-0 lead in the second. Then the Padres would answer back with two in the third. Then the Cardinals would get 1 in the 4th to tie the game two. The two teams would trade runs in the 5th to make it 3-3. Thats where the game would remain until the ninith when the Padres would open up the offense and the cardinals would have costly miscues and score three runs and get the 6-3 victory. Getting the win for the Padres would be Frank Brogna. Gane two would go to the cardinals. With the split on the day the Padres go to 1-3 and the Cardinals 3-1 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Jordan Yando (14) slides in safe at third base under the tag of Brushton-Moria's Brandan Dufrane (33), The Malone Huskies would defeat the Brushton-Moria Panthers 13-7 in non league action. The Malone bats would score early and often with nine runs in the first to take the early 9-0 lead. The Huskies would answer with another four in the third for the 13-0 lead. The Panther bats would come alive in the fourth though as they would get seven runs to make it the 13-7 final. Getting the win for the huskies would be Derek Juntunten. With the win the Huskies keep there unbeaten season in tact at 8-0 and the Panthers fall to 2-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Joe McGillcuddy (2) gives it all he has for strike out as he gets the save. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks 11-10. The game would go back and forth and the offenses were deffenately on display. The Bulldofs would jump quick and quick and take the 3-1 lead after 1. Then in the second the Lumberjacks would answer back with six for the 7-4 lead. Then in the third Bulldogs would come back with five for the 9-7 lead. Then the teams would settle down the rest of the way and Bulldogs would hold on for the 11-10 victory. In the winning effort Garret Labare would strike out 8 in 5.2 innings of work. The Bulldogs would out to 2-0 lead after one. Then in third inning the Bulldogs would get four and the Lumberjacks would add 2 to make 6-2 after 3. Then in the 6th the Lumberjacks would tie the game at 6 as they would get four runs. Then in the seventh inning the Bulldogs would end the game on a walk off baseloaded single by Holly Zeldenrust. Airborne Speedway's Matt Orsmby (13) with the full extention catch in centerfield for the out. The Lyon Mountain Miners would sweep the Airborne Speedway Padres 7-5 and 9-2. In game one of the double header the Miners would take a 2-0 lead after the second. The Padres would answer back wth one in third but the Miners would get three in bottom to have the 5-1 lead. Then in the fourth the Miners would get two more for the 7-1 lead. The Padres would try to make the late game comeback but it just come up short getting four runs in the last two innings for the 7-5 Miners win. In the winning effort Justin Besaw would strike out four. In game the Padres would just have no answers for the Miners as they would get 9 unaswered runs in the first six innings. Then in the seventh Padres would avoid the shutout by getting two runs for the 9-2 final. In the winning effort Chris Van Houten would strike out 10 in 6 innings of shuout ball. Gallery
