Then in the second game the Cardinals would get the early 1-0 lead on Damian Tyler's Sacrifice Fly scoring Kris Cauchon. The Hawks would gain the lead 2-1 with two runs in the third inning. Where the score would remain until the eighth inning when the Cardinals would two runs. The game would be tied on Mike Vaques RBI single. Then the game winner would come on Pedro Gonzalezs RBI single. In the winning effort Marc Plante would go seven strong innings giving up 2 runs scattering 9 hits and striking out 3.
