It would be the third and final day of the 3rd annual Adirondack Cup at the Malone Civic Center in NYSAHA Boy's 16U Hockey and it would the finals as it would be an all-Adirtondack final as the host 46ers would meet up with the Jr. Thunder for the championship. The game would not start off the greatest for the home 46ers as the Jr. Thunder would get the opening goal in the first couple of minutes. However, the 46ers would come back and get a couple of goals and take a 2-1 lead to end the first period. In the second period, the teams would trade goals and the 46ers would hold a 3-2 lead as they would enter the third period. In the third period, the 46ers offense would come alive and they would get four goals. They would cruise to the 7-2 victory and be crowned the 2023 Adirondack Cup champions. The 46ers will be back in action next Sunday as they will have a pair of games against these same Adirondack Jr. Thunder. Gallery

The Adirondack 46ers pose for their team photo as they are crowned the 2023 Adirondack Cup champions with a 7-2 victory. It would be the game of the season as the Chazy Flyers would host the Adirondack Thunder at the Amer-Can North Arena in the bantams division. The Flyers would take no time in taking control of the game as they would score 5 goals in the first period coming from Ryan Racine, Braeden Calkins, and Cassidy Goodman. In the second period, the Flyers would keep their foot on the loud pedal and add another 4 goals from Evan Patrie, Quinn Brandell, Wayne Simpson, and Ryan Racine for the 9-0 lead. In the third period, Flyers would take their foot off the pedal and back it down as they would get two goals from Landon Giroux. The Flyers would get the 11-0 win and start their season off on the right foot at 1-0. Gallery

It would be a little under 14 girls' hockey as the Adirondack 46ers would host the Oswego Buccaneers at the Malone Civic Center. The game would remain scoreless through the first 15 minutes as the teams were very evenly matched and the defenses were holding down the attacks of the teams. In the second period, it was starting to look more of the same until the last thirty seconds of the period when the 46ers would score on the Ashley Cromie goal to make it 1-0 46ers. The game would stay right there through the third period until the final three minutes when the 46ers would double their lead at 2-0 on the Anna Monette goal to secure the 2-0 victory. In the winning effort, the 46ers Kori Lynn Seymour would make 28 saves as they go to 12-2 on the season. Next up for the 46ers will be a home and home next Saturday with the Valley Eagles-CNY Bobcats. Gallery

This one would be a high scoring affair though as the teams would combine for five goals in the period and scoring for the roadrunners would be Benjamin Coryea, Chase Carpenter, and Evan Patrie and have a 3-2 lead. In the second period, the teams would trade a pair of goals and make it 4-3 and scoring for the roadrunners would be Benjamin Coryea for his second of the afternoon. In the third period through the Roadrunners would just run out of gas and get outscored 4-1 with the lone goal from Frankie Trudeau and lose the game 7-5. In the losing effort, for the Roadrunners Kori Lynn Lamoy would still have 32 saves on the night while Benjamin Coryea would lead the offense with two goals in the afternoon. Gallery

The Roadrunners would tie the game up at the 11:38 mark of the second period on the Tom Sorensen goal. Then just 2:30 into the third period the Roadrunners would take the 2-1 lead on the Gerald Woodruff goal. Then just over a minute later the Roadrunners would extend there lead on the Aiden Chapple goal to make it 3-1. Then at the 5:40 mark of the period the Roadrunners would take the 4-1 lead on the Jonathan Roy goal on his shot from the blue line. The Eagles would get a late goal to make it 4-2. Although the roadrunners would hold on for the 4-2 win and Owen Chapple would have 26 saves on the night. Gallery
