It would be the third-place game of the Comfort Inn Winter Classic and it would see the Nazareth Golden Flyers of the UCHC Hockey taking on the Rivier Raiders in front of 700 fans at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. It would take no take for the Raiders to get the opening goal of the game just 1:20 into the game on the powerplay goal from Tyler Duderstadt to make it 1-0. Nazareth would answer about three minutes later on the shorthanded goal from Blake Frost to tie the game at one. The Golden Flyers would keep the pedal down and would score two minutes later on the Ethan Louisos goal and take the 2-1 lead. Then at the 11:56 mark, the Golden Flyers would extend their lead to two on the Logan Tobias powerplay goal to make it a 3-1 game. The game would stay there till the 6:33 mark of the second period when the Golden Flyers would extend the lead to 4-1 on the Anthony Quinlivan powerplay goal. Then at the 12:30 mark of the second period the Raiders would get two powerplay goals just 47 seconds apart from Tyler Duderstadt and Jon Tavella to make it a 4-3 game at the end of the second period. The game would stay there till the 8:30 mark of the third period when Blake Frost would score the second time in the game and make it a 5-3 game. The Raiders would add a goal with 1:10 left from Damon Kiyawasew to make it 5-4 but the Golden Flyers would hold on for the win. With the win the Golden Flyers go to 2-8-2 on the season as Matt Sayles makes 16 saves. As for the Rivier Raiders, Will Augustine would make 36 saves as they fall to 6-7-2 on the season. Gallery

Albertus Magnus (30) Logan Bateman with the pad save as part of a 28-save night in the win. It would be the opening game of the 2024 edition of the Comfort Inn Winter Classic and it would see the Albertus Magnus Falcons face off against the Nazareth Golden Flyers of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference in front of 700 fans. The Falcons would get the opening goal in the battle of the birds from Tim Manning just 3:57 into the game. The Falcons would keep the pedal down and take the 2-0 lead at the 10:08 mark of the first on the Sam Anderson goal. Then with just about 3:30 left in the period, Blake Frost would get the Flyers on the board and make it a 2-1 game. However, the Falcons would get the two-goal right back to a two-goal game with a 3-1 lead just 90 seconds later on the Caden Patterson goal. The Falcons would come out firing in the second period and score just 12 seconds into the game on the Tyler Ignazzitto to make it 4-1. The game would stay there till the midway point of the third when the Flyers Johnny Jackson goal to make it 4-2 down the stretch. In the winning effort for the Falcons Logan Bateman would make 28 saves as they get the 4-2 win. Mason Winter Classic and it would feature the host Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the King's Monarchs in the battle for second place in the final standings. The game would start off good for the home Cardinals as they would light the lamp just 5:36 into the game on the Thomas Maia goal for the 1-0 lead. Then with 90 seconds left in the period, the Cardinals would score again on the powerplay from Matt Araujo to make it 2-0 Cardinals. To start the second period the Cardinals would show some life and get on the board at the 2:18 mark from Aaron Frenkel to make it a 2-1 game. The Cardinals would answer back and they would authority as they get three before the end of the period to make it a 5-1 game thanks to Jack Ring and Joey Mancuso (twice). As the third period started the Monarchs would answer back to make it a three-goal game at 5-2 on Aaron Frenkel's second goal of the game at the 5:17 mark. But then here would come the Cardinals as they would storm away with three goals down the stretch from Thomas Maia (twice of the night), Christian Difelice, and Bennett Stockdale for the 8-2 victory. Mason Winter Classic and it would feature the Albertus Magnus Falcons and the King's Monarchs. It would be a tight evenly matched game through the first as there would be no scoring. The first goal of the game would not come until the 11:36 mark of the second period when Tyler Ignazzitto would light the lamp for the Falcons and make it a 1-0 game. Then with just about two minutes left in the period, the Falcons would strike again this time on the powerplay from Colt Corpse for a 2-0 game. Then when the teams came back for the third period the Falcons would go for the knockout as they would score just a minute into the period to make it 3-0. Although the Monarchs would show some life as Mahingan Decontie would score at the 5:26 mark of the third to make it 3-1. The Monarchs would keep fighting and make it a 3-2 game at the 9:17 mark of the third period on a powerplay goal by Jack Cooper. Then with just under five minutes left in the game, the Monarchs would complete the comeback and tie at three on the Nick Snyder. That is where the game would stay until the overtime and in that overtime, Alex Gagnon would get his second of the night and it was an important one as it would be the game-winner. In the winning effort, Logan Bateman would make 29 saves as they go to 9-6 on the season while the Monarchs fall to 2-10 on the season. Gallery.

The Elmira Soaring Eagles celebrate as they are crowd the 2019 W.B. Mason Winter Classic champions at the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The championship game of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic woould be a renewal of a rivalry between longtime foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would faceoff with the Elmira Soaring Eagles. The game would start off great for the home Cardinals as they would get the opening goal of the game just 1:27 into the first period from Christian Difelice. The lead would short-lived as the Soaring Eagles would get the equalizer with a shorthanded goal from Nick Ford just over three minutes later and tie the game at 1. Then just two minutes later at the 6:59 mark of the first period, the Soaring Eagles would take the 2-1 lead on a goal by Anthony Parrucci. That is where the game would remain for the rest of the period and until the 13:30 mark of the second when Elmira's Matthew Cuce would score two goals in two minutes with one of them being a shorthanded goal to take the 4-1 lead. That would be all that the Soaring Eagles would need as they would hold on from there to take the 4-1 victory. In the losing effort, the Cardinals would fall to 4-7-1 on the season. Gallery.

Mason Winter Classic hosted by the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and would feature a matchup between the Endicott Gulls and the Elmira Soaring Eagles. The first period would take sometime to get going as there would be no scoring there would be three goals in 9 minutes. The Gulls would get two goals from James Winkler and Stev Kuxhynski as the Soaring Eagles would get a lone goal from Kale Kane and the Gulls would have a 2-1 lead after the first period. In the second period the offenses on both sides would be a scoring machine as they would combine for four goals in the period. Scoring for the Soaring Eagles would be Nick Ford and Marty Kaponian and for the Gulls it would be Luke Rogers and Bump Lisk as the Gulls would take a 4-3 lead into the final period. In the final period the Soaring Eagles would keep up the fight and win the period 2-1 and send the game to overtime. Scoring in the third period for the Soaring Eagles would be Stev Kunchynski and Matthew Cuce. In the overtime it was starting to look like we were headed to the shootout until Elmira's Nick Ford would rip one by the goalie to give the Soaring Eagles the 6-5 win in overtime. With the win the Soaring Eagles will head to the championship of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic against either host Plattsburgh State or Wentworth. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Pat Egan (16) with the quicker wrister on net as he breaks in on the net. It would be the championship of the Cardinal Classic featuring the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and #13 Neumann Knights. The game would not start off good for the Cardinals as they gave one first period goal and trail 1-0 after the first period. In the second period, it would get worse as they gave up three goals and trail 4-0 after two periods. The Cardinals would finally get on the board in the third period on Jesse Neher's goal to make it 4-1. Although the Knights would answer back with three goals of there own and secure the 7-1 victory. In the losing effort, Joshua Davies would make 20 saves as the Cardinals fall to 6-6 on the season. Gallery
