Plattsburgh State's Camille Leonard (31) with the shoulder save as part of a 17 save night. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Utica Pioneers in ECAC West action. The Cardinals would open the scoring at 3:20 of the first period on the Sarah Wolfe goal to make it 1-0. Then at the 7:57 mark of the 1st period, the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on the Megan Crandell goal. Then under a minute later the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on the Melissa Ames goal. The Cardinals would add one more in the 1st period on the Meghan Kraus goal to make it 4-0. The Pioneers would get on the board near the need of the first to make it 4-1 Cardinals after the 1st period. That is where the game would stay until the 9-minute mark of the third when the Pioneers would score to make it 4-2. Then just over two minutes later the Cardinals would regain their three-goal lead at 5-2 on Ashley Songin goal. Then at the 13:17 mark of the third, the Cardinals would end there scoring on the Mackenize Millen goal to secure the 6-2 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 17 saves as the Cardinals go to 15-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals hosting SUNYAC foe Potsdam State Bears. The game would start out slow for the Cardinals as they have a 1-0 lead after one on Melissa Sheeran's goal. In the second period, the Cardinals would find there groove as they would score twice from Melissa Sheeran (second goal) and Erin Brand. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals before the start of the game would raise there 2016 National Championship banner to the rafters. It would be a clash of a pair of top 10 teams in ECAC-West action. The Cardinals would start off hot and not look back as they would get three goals in the first period from Meghan Kraus, Melissa Sheehan, and Kayla Meneghin for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would add three more goals from Jordan Lipton (twice) and Katelyn Turk for the 6-0 lead. In the third period, the teams would trade a pair of goals with the Cardinal goal coming from Kayla Meneghin shorthand goal second of the night as the Cardinals would hold on for the 7-1 victory. In the winning effort, Cammie Leonard would stop 22 as the Cardinals go to 5-0 on the season. Gallery

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celebrate as they are heading back to another NCAA Frozen Four. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 Amherst Lady Jeffs in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. The game would remain scoreless until 6:12 of the second period when Kayla Menehgain would score to give the Cardinals 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would expand there lead to 2-0 at 8:19 on Melisa Ames goal. The Cardinals would finish off the second period with a Melissa Sheeran goal to make it 3-0 after the second period. When the third period started the Cardinals would keep control as they would expand the lead to 4-0 on Mackenize Millen's goal. The Cardinals would put the icing on the cake in the final minute of the game on a Bridget Baisley goal to secure the 5-0 victory. In the winning effort, Camille Leonard would make 25 saves in the shutout effort as the Cardinals advance to the NCAA Final Four. Gallery

The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Utica Pioneers in the 2016 ECAC West Championship. The Cardinals would show their muscle early in the contest scoring four goals in the first period from Karen Hudson, Kayla Meneghain, Jordan Lipson and Courtney Moriarty for the 4-0 lead. In the second period, the Cardinals would add two more goals from Melissa Sheeran, and Melissa Ames for 6-0 lead. In the third period, the Cardinals would put the icing on the cake with two more goals Courtney Moriarty (second of the night), and Jordan Lipson (second of the night) to secure the 8-0 victory.
