The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be hosting the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play. It would be tight through the first quarter the Cardinals would have a slim 17-16 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter it would be a different story as the Bengals would have shutdown defense and win the quarter 13-3 and the Cardinals would trail 29-20 as they head into the intermission, In the third quarter the offenses would both show up and the Cardinals would have a 21-18 quarter but they still would trail 47-41 as they head into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do their best to get back in the game with another 21-18 quarter. Although it wouldn't be enough as they would lose 65-62 and fall to 5-10 on the season and Hope Sullivan would lead the way with 13 points. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Hope Sullivan (31) with the body and score as part of a team-high thirteen point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be hosting the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play. It would be tight through the first quarter the Cardinals would have a slim 17-16 lead after the first quarter. It would be the home opener of the 2022 portions of the season as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC action. It would not start off good for the home Cardinals as they would be down early and big after the first quarter 18-5 to the Red Dragons. The in the second quarter the Red Dragons would be a blur to the Cardinals with a 30-13 quarter and the Cardinals would trail 48-18 at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Red Dragons would stay hot with a 17-7 quarter and have a 65-25 lead to head into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Cardinals wouldn't give up the fight and win the quarter 23-16. Although the Red Dragons would hold on for the convincing win at 81-48. as the Cardinals go to 3-8 on the season and the Red Dragons go to 9-2 on the season. Gallery

It would be the home opener of the 2022 portions of the season as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC action. The game would start off close but the Cardinals would be behind by a score of 20-13. In the second quarter, the Cardinals would do their best to keep the game close but the Panthers would win the quarter 21-17 and have a 41-30 lead at the intermission. When the teams would return for the third quarter the Cardinals would stay in the fight but the Panthers would pull away by a little more with a 22-16 quarter and the Panthers would lead 63-46 heading into the fourth. Once again in the fourth, the Cardinals would stay close but the Panthers win by a slim 18-14 to give the Cardinals the 81-60 lose. In the losing effort, Mya Smith would lead the Cardinals with 24 points as they fall to 3-6 on the season while Alexa Mustafa. would lead the Panthers to the win with 24 points. Gallery

It would be a tight but good start for the Cardinals as they would have a slim 19-17 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the teams would still be tight but the Bears were just a little better as they win the quarter 17-13 and take a 34-32 lead into the locker room. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Bears would start to pull away as they would have a 19-12 quarter and take a 53-44 lead into the fourth. In that fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do their best to get back into it with a 19-14 but it wouldn't be enough as they would fall by a score of 67-63. In the winning effort, the Bears Madison McCormick would lead the way 18 points as they go to 5-1. While for the Cardinals Mya Smith would lead the way with 20 points as they go to 3-3 on the season. Cobleskill Tigers @ Potsdam State Bears November 13th 2021 Women's NCAA Women's Basketball Cardinal Classic Day #2

Potsdam State's Mandy Barnell (25) with the offensive rebound under the basket. It would be the first game of the second day of the Cardinal Classic and would feature the Potsdam State Bears and the Cobleskill Tigers. The game would start well for the Bears as they jump out to the 15-10 lead. In the second quarter, the Tigers would fight back and take the slim 24-23 lead at the half with a 14-8 quarter. When the teams came back for the second half the Tigers would stay hot as they would extend their lead to 44-38 with a 20-15 quarter. Although in the fourth quarter the Bears would catch fire with a 23-11 quarter and pull out the win at the end with a 61-55 win. In the winning effort, Xyel Bradford would lead the way with 11 points as the Bears go to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Kara Oatman with three attempts from the corner. It would be day 2 of the Cardinal Classic as the host Plattsburgh State Cardinals would take on the Norwich Cadets. The game would start off slow as the defenses would be on their game as the Cadets would have the low 14-10 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the defenses would stay up as the Cardinals would win it 10-5 and have the 20-19 lead at the half. When the teams came back for the third quarter so did the Cardinals offense as they would explode for a 29-6 quarter and take a 49-25 lead. In the fourth quarter, they would just let it ride and win the quarter 20-19 and secure the 69-44 win. In the winning effort, Mya Smith would lead the way with 16 points as they go to 3-1 on the season and Norwich remains winless in the early season. Gallery
