In the second quarter, the Cardinals would break the game open on the strength of a 4-0 quarter on goals from Caroline Noia, Emma McLaughlin, Davina Gyedu (second), Caitlin Nash for the 9-3 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the defenses would be on display as they would tie the quarter 2-2 with the Cardinal goals from Caroline Noia (second) and Jordan Kowalski but they would take the 11-5 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would win the quarter for a 14-7 win on goals from Lindsay Guzzetta (second), Emma McLaughlin (second), and Caroline Noia (third). It would be nonleague action that would feature the Plattsburgh State Cardinals and the Russell Sage Gators from the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse Lacrosse complex. The game would start off good for the Cardinals as they would jump out on the Gators with a 6-0 quarter on goals from Nicole Resnick, Caroline Noia, Emily Caoili, Melanie Winters, and Jordan Kowalski (twice). In the second quarter, the Cardinals would keep the firepower going with a 6-3 quarter on goals from Caitlin Nash, Kate Kennedy (twice), Fiona Fitzgerald, and Caroline Noia (twice) and take the 12-3 lead into the half. When the teams came back for the second half the defenses on both sides would step up as for the half the Cardinals would win 3-2 on goals from Kate Kennedy (third), Jordan Kowalski (third), and Emily Caoili (second) as they secure the 15-5 victory. It would be a nonleague matchup at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse Soccer/Lacrosse Complex as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Clarkson Golden Knights in Women's Lacrosse. The first quarter of the game would not go well for the Cardinals as they would be down 7-2 with the lone goals for the Cardinals would come from Fiona Fitzgerald and Caroline Noia while scoring for the Golden Knights would be Madelynn Barnum (four), Hailey Millington (twice) and Sofie Mangino. In the second quarter, the Golden Knights would put the game out of reach with a 7-0 quarter and take the 14-2 lead at the break scoring for the Golden Knights would be Mia Petrone, Julia Lavarnway (three), Sydney Roderick, Madelynn Barnum (fifth) and Grace Hagberg. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Golden Knights would let off the gas with a 3-0 quarter and take the 17-2 into the fourth on goals from Julia Lavarnway (fourth) Hailey Millington(third) and Sydney Roderick (second). In the fourth quarter with the game in hand, the Cardinals would actually get the quarter 3-1 on goals from Rachel LaMar, Caroline Noia (second), and Maddy Garcia while Julia Patterson would score for the Golden Knights for the 18-5 victory. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would open up the home portion of their season as they would battle in a nonleague game against the Norwich Cadets. The game would start off good for the home Cardinals as they would jump out to a 5-1 at the end of the first quarter on goals from Emily Caoili, Caroline Noia (three), Lindsay Guzzetta. In the second quarter, the Cardinals would add three more from Caroline Noia (fourth), Emily Caoili (twice), and Maddy Garcia and take the 8-1 lead into the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Cardinal offense would stay hot as they would add six goals from Caroline Noia (fifth), Caitlin Nash (third), Lindsay Guzzetta (second), and Fiona Fitzgerald as they soar to 14-3 lead as they entered the fourth quarter the Cardinals would add three more from Emily Caoili (third), Davina Gyedu, and Maddy Garcia (twice) as the Cardinals secure the 17-5 win an get there record back to 1-1 on the season. Plattsburgh State's Kerri Corcoran (4) wins the draw late in the game to set up the winning goal down the stretch. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would return home and look to keep there undefeated season going as they would welcome the Mount St. Vincent Dolphins to the Field House Lacrosse Complex in front of 60 fans on a windy day. It would be a back and forth tilt between two evenly matched opponents as it would be tied at 6 after the first quarter and scoring for the Cardinals would be Kate Kennedy, Frankie Porcaro (twice), Kerri Corcoran, Allie Vangas and Kate Kallamni. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same although the Cardinals would win the half 6-5 for the 12-11 win and scoring would be Emily Caolli, Lindsey Guzzetta, Deja Richardson (twice) and Katie Kallamani. The Cardinals would get the game-winning goal with 26 seconds left as Deja Richardson would find the back of the net. In the winning effort, while the Cardinal goaltenders will combine for 8 saves on the afternoon and Katie Kallanami and Deja Richardson will have three points each as the Cardinals go to 3-0 on the season.
