It would be a game where the scoring would be at a premium. The Larries would have the 9-6 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would win the quarter 6-4 although they would trail 13-12 at the half. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 9-4 and take the 22-16 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Larries would have no answer the Bulldogs would win the quarter 10-4 to take the 32-20 win. In the winning effort, Danielle Cook (23) would lead the way with 14 points as the Bulldogs go to 4-2 on the season. Gallery

The game would be scoreless through regulation and would go to overtime tied at zero. Then in the 2nd minute of overtime Reid Laplante would score the lone goal of the game with Nick Ashline picking up the assist. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would make two saves for the shutout as the Bulldogs go to 5-2 on the season. Gallery.

Malone's Johan Eksing (6) with the body check into the corner on the Norwood-Norfolk defender as they go for the loose puck. The Malone Huskies would meet up with the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen in Section X Division 2 action. The Icemen would waste little time in taking the 1-0 lead at the three-minute mark of the first period from Colby Munson. The game would stay there till 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period, Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two-goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period, it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period, the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29, the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power-play goal to make it 7-2. Then just to finish it off Icemen's Zeb Brown would get his second of the night to secure the 8-2 victory. In the losing effort, Joey Brown would make 34 saves as the Huskies fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

Malone's Trevor Henderson (44) with the hard open-ice hit on St. Lawerence's Drew Rose (16) just outside the blue line. The Malone Huskies would host the St. Lawrence Larries in Section X Division II action. The St. Lawrence Larries would take the 1-0 lead at the 12:21 mark of the first period on Drew Rose's goal to give the Larries the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there until 9:48 of the second when Larries Luckas Arrquiett's goal to make it 2-0. Then just over three minutes later the Larries would make it 3-0 on Nick Kowalchuk's goal. Then at 2:42 mark of the third period, Jake Henning would get the Huskies on the board at 3-1. Then 6:24 of the period Drew Rose would score his second of the night to secure the Larries 4-1 win. In the losing effort Joey Brown would stop 30 shots on the day as the Huskies fall to 5-12-1 on the season. Gallery.

The St. Lawerence Larries would host the Lake Placid Blue Bombers in Malone in Girls Hockey as part of the schools joined the team. The game would be a great competition as the two teams were evenly matched. The game would remain scoreless until 5 minutes into the second period when Lake Placid's Brooke Reid would light the lamp to give the Blue Bombers the 1-0 lead. That is where the game would remain until the last few seconds of the game when Lake Placid's Brooke Ried would score again in the empty net to secure the 2-0 win. With the lose the Larries fall to 0-3 on the season. In the losing effort, Stephaine Peets would have 26 saves. Gallery

St. Lawrence's Katie Lamica (20) fights on the doorstep for the rebound goal. The St. Lawrence Larries would play the Canton Golden Bears in Malone as part of the Upstate New York Girls Hockey League. The game would remain scoreless until the second period when Canton's Natalie Giglio would score 41 seconds in to make it 1-0 Golden Bears. The Bears would extend there lead to 2-0 on Margret Troiano's goal at 6:11. Then in the last minute of the period the Bears would make it 3-0 on Blake Orosz. When the teams returned for the third it would be more of the same as the Bears score 17 seconds in on Mary Kaite Mace's goal to make it 4-0. The Larries would keep fighting though and get a goal two minutes left from Paige Debeer to make it 4-1. The Bears would add an insurance marker in the last minute from Blake Orosz's second of the night to get the 5-1 win. In the losing effort Larries Holly Zeldenrust would stop 43 as they fall to 0-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Reid Laplante (2) within lose shot on net that is saved of the head of the St. Lawrence goalie Haiden St. Hilaire. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would battle the St. Lawrence Larries in Section X East Division action. The game would remain scoreless until the 34th minute when Nick Ashline would score on the header to give the Bulldogs the 1-0 lead assist to Chad Slater. The game would remain there until the 69th minute when Nick Ashline would score again for the Bulldogs this time hitting it off the crossbar and in to make 2-0 Bulldogs with the assist going to Seth Young. Then just two minutes later when Seth Young would score on the breakout to make it 3-0. The Larries would try to get back in the game with a goal just 20 seconds later on Matthew Frary to make it 3-1 but that's as far as they would get. The Bulldogs would hang on for the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would make one save. With the win, the Bulldogs would go to 8-2-1 on the season. Gallery
