It would be a battle of old school Yamaha versus a new Yamaha four-stroke and the rider on the new Yamaha would be holding for the ride and the win. The Snowmobile Hill Climb Racing Association (SHCRA) would make there return trip to race up Titus Mountain. There would be lots of local racers and other pro racers racing for bragging rights and cash prizes. There would be around 50 racers in 15 different classes with many close races for the spectators. There were many great sides by side races during the day. The crowd-pleasers were always when the Arctic Cat line up against the Ski-Doo.The local area snow sled clubs from Ellenburg, Plattsburgh, Peru, and Saranac held there 4th annual sled drags for the third year at the Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY. There were around 35 competitors in the 16 different classes that competed to benefit the different clubs. Everyone was very pleased with the turnout and are looking forward to next year's races. There was about 50 competitors that showed up for the 2nd annual Sled Drags at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY in the ten different classes. As can be seen in the picture there was tight racing. Gallery
