The classic rivalry would return again this weekend as the Arctic Cat's and Ski-Doo's would duel all weekend. The east coast snocross returned for the 2nd day of the show and this time the racers were taking the aerial approach to the track. The Arctic Cat racer tried to split the middle on the three wide down the front stretch as tight racing would be the norm on the day. The East Coast Snocross would return to plattsburgh and put on another great show with great racing through out the day in 17 different classes. Gallery

Ski-Doo racers Lincoln Lemieux (113) and Dave Asselin (51) are side by side or the finish line jump in the Pro Stock qualifier. The East Coast Snocross would return to Plattsburgh and put on another great show with great racing throughout the day in 17 different classes. Gallery

Northeast Snocross Challenge Plattsburgh, NY January 9th 2011
The start of the Pro Open heat race was very tight with the top racers tight together over the tabletop jump in front of the crowd. The first stop for the East Coast Snocross in Plattsburgh had its second day of action. The major show of the day would be the Pro Open division with some of the best snocross racers in the nation at the event. Mathieu Morin with the Ski-Doo from Quebec would complete the weekend sweep in the pro class by beating Dave Allard at the finish. The weekend was a great success with over 200 riders coming and everyone looking forward to coming back next year. Gallery

Matt Rabideau from Plattsburgh would bring the local flavor to event by winning the Trail 800 class. The first stop for the East Coast Snocross in Plattsburgh had its second day of action. The major show of the day would be the Pro Open division with some of the best snocross racers in the nation at the event. Mathieu Morin with the Ski-Doo from Quebec would complete the weekend sweep in the pro class by beating Dave Allard at the finish. The weekend was a great success with over 200 riders coming and everyone looking forward to coming back next year. Gallery

A pair of Pro Racers are launching off the triple jump coming down the front stretch in front of the crowd. The old classic snocross would add another chapter between the Ski-Doo and Arctic Cat. Mathieu Morin on the Ski-Doo would go on to win the Pro Super Stock race. Mathieu Morin would head into Sunday's Pro Open event looking to get the clean sweep. Gallery

Pro Racers take it three wide over the table to start the Pro Super Stock Finals with the Arctic Cat out in front of the two Ski-Doo's. Northeast Snocross Challenge Malone, NY January 10th 2010
It was the finals of the Rock Maple Racing Northeast Snocross Challenge at Franklin County Fairgrounds in Malone, NY. Many of the finals were very tightly contested as riders were going for the bragging rights that I won the last race in Malone. As an added bonus in the Pro Open division, it was the 1st leg of Woody's Triple Crown and Bailey Motor Company put up an extra $1,000 to winner of the race. The winner would be Bobby Lepage on the #244 Polaris that would pass Mathieu Morin with just two laps remaining in the 20 lap main event when he got held up the slower sleds. Mathieu Morin (#27) Ski-Doo takes the convincing victory in the Pro Super Stock race. In front of a very grateful crowd. Morin would take the lead at around the halfway mark of the race from Danny Porier and no be challenged the rest of the way. Gallery
The age-old rival would be brought up again this weekend between the Ski-Doo and Arctic Cat camps. As the (#24) Ski-Doo goes ski to ski with Chris Chico's (#311) Arctic Cat over the tabletop. Gallery
