Saranac's Dylan Clay (17) goes low and makes the tackle on the legs of Peru's Brian Stewart (38). The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in Week 7 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Indians offense would be in form as they would take the 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as they would extend the lead to 29-0. In the second half it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and get the 51-0 win. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would finish off the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs would finish at 2-5. Gallery.

The Saranac Chiefs would take the 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a Johnny Devins rushing touchdown. Then in the second quarter, the Peru Indians offense would start to click as they would get two scores to take the 14-6 lead into the break. Then when the teams came back for the second half they would pick up where they left off getting another score in the third to make it 20-6. Then in the fourth quarter they would get one more to put it away and secure the 26-6 victory. With the win, the Peru Indians go to 1-6 while the Saranac Chiefs fall to 0-7. Gallery

Chateaugay's Kylie Hanley (35) with tip st the net past Au Sable Valley blocker at the net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would return to Saranac for the Saranac Volleyball Tournament. There would be a total of nine teams at the tournament. The nine teams at the tournament would be Chateaugay, Saranac, Lake Placid, Ogdensburg, Plattsburgh, Northern Adirondack, Au Sable Valley, and Peru. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would go 13-3 only losing single games Peru, Saranac, and Ogdensburg. With the 13-3 record, the Bulldogs would finish second on the day behind the winners the Peru Indians. Malone's Blake Lewis (7) with the diving catch out in the center field to save a base hit. The Malone Huskies would host the #11 Peru Indians in non-league action. The Indians would take the 1-0 lead in the second inning when Connor Casey would score on the wild pitch. Although the Huskies would come right back in the bottom of the inning and score fours on one play as the Indians would through the ball around like a hot potato and take a 4-1 lead. The Indians would come back in the third inning and get one on Mitch Cunningham RBI single to make it 4-2. Although the game would not get any closer and the Huskies would have some great defense and secure the 4-2 victory. In the winning effort, Malone's Alex Johnson would go four innings of shutout ball will striking out four and giving up one hit in the win as the Huskies go to 2-2 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's Quenton Barber (88) wraps up Peru's Revilno Hendricks (9) on his attempt to take around the end. The Beekmantown Eagles and Peru Indians would meet in the Section VII Class B Championship at Ausable Valley with a berth in the state tournament on the line. Beekmantown would take the 7-0 lead on their first drive of the game on a Justin Stevens 11 yard run. Then inside the last minute of the first quarter Justin Stevens would strike again to give the Eagles the 14-0 lead. Peru would get on the broad 11 seconds into the second quarter on a Ryan Lovely 45 yard touchdown reception to make it 14-7. Beekmantown would answer back 4 minutes later on a Devin Fesette 60 yard touchdown run to make it 20-7. Peru's Taylor Avanzato would score on a 5 yard run at 7:52 of the second quarter to make it 20-14. Then to end the second quarter fury Justin Stevens would score from 17 yards out to make it 27-14 with 2.13 left til halftime. In the third quarter Zane Bazzano would have the lone score off a 14-yard touchdown at 8:13 to make it 27-21 Eagles. Then 2:28 Zane Bazzano and the Indians would strike again to give the Indians there first lead of the day. The Eagles wouldn't give up though and after an Indian fumble Justin Stevens would score for his third touchdown of the day to give the Eagles the 33-28 lead and win. With the win the Beekmantown Eagles go to 5-4 on the season and play the Malone Huskies in the Quarterfinals of the State Tournament on November 9th at Ausable Valley. Gallery
