It would be week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and we would have the Saranac Chiefs playing host to the Peru Indians. The Saranac Chiefs would jump out to the 6-0 lead on a 19 yard run from Sean Ahern at the 9:36 mark of the first. The Peru Indians would come right back down the field and scored to tie the game at six on the long touchdown pass Evan Palmer. The Indians would take the 9-6 lead 2:23 into the second quarter on a 26-yard field goal and that's where the game would be at for halftime. At the 9:37 mark of the third quarter, the Indians would extend there lead to 15-6 on the touchdown pass. Then nearing the end of the third quarter the Indians would grab a pick 6 to make it 22-6 going to the last quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Indians would score again this time John Gallo to secure the 29-6 victory. In the winning effort, the Indians go to 3-3 while the Chiefs fall to 0-6 on the season. Gallery

It would be week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and we would have the Saranac Chiefs playing host to the Peru Indians. Ausable Valley's Kobe Parrow (14) with the leaping catch along the sidelines for the first down on the big gain. It would be week four of the C.V.A.C. season and the Ausable Valley Patriots would travel to the Peru Indians. The Patriots would take the 7-0 lead with 4:25 left in the first quarter on Brandon Snow's catch in the corner of the end zone. The Patriots would extend the lead to 13-0 on Brandon Snow's second touchdown of the day with 2:05 left in the half. That would be all the Patriots would need as the teams would go scoreless in the second half as the Patriots would hold on for the 13-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Patriots go to 2-2 while the Indians fall to 1-3 on the season. Gallery.

Section VII Class B Championship #1 Peru Indians Vs #2 Beekmantown Eagles October 31 2015

Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) and Jacob LaFountain stand up Peru running back for the stop. It would be arch-rivals the Peru Indians and the Beekmantown meeting up for yet another Section VII Class C Championship. There would be no scoring until Beekmantown's Alex Archer (3) would get an 8-yard touchdown at 3:19 of the second to make it 7-0 eagles. The Eagles would extend there lead to 14-0 when Alex Archer would score another rushing touchdown. Then in the final minute of the half the Eagles would break the game open a 50 yard run by Tyler Myers (2) to make it 21-0 at the break. Then in the first two minutes of the second half, the Eagles would extend the lead to 27-0 on pick 6. Then in the closing minutes of the third quarter, the Indians would get on the broad with a Dakota Arquette run to make it 27-7 after three. Then in the opening minute of the fourth, the Eagles would extend the lead to 34-7 on another running score. The Indians thought would come right back down and score on another Dakota Arquette running touchdown. Although the Eagles would answer back with Tyler Myer's second 50-yard rushing touchdown to make it 40-13. Then to put the icing on the cake the Eagles would get one more score to secure the 47-13 victory. With the win the Beekmantown Eagles advance to the New York State Playoffs and will face the Malone Huskies in the first round. Gallery

It would be defensive first half with the Huskies having the low scoring 23-20 lead at the break. In the second half, the Peru offense would come alive and be too much the Huskies to deal with as the Indians win the half 37-23. With the half going to the Indians by such a big margin they would get the come from behind win 57-46. In the losing effort for the Huskies Connor Gallager would lead the team with 12 points. The Eagles would strike first on a Justin Stevens touchdown run in the first quarter to make it 7-0. In the second quarter, Eagles Matt Villa would return the interception for the score to make it 14-0. Later in the quarter, the Indians would get on the board to make it 14-7 as they head to the half. In the third quarter, the teams would trade scores with Justin Stevens run to make it 21-7 Eagles headed to the fourth quarter the Indians would score twice in the quarter including Buddy Altizer game-winner with 12 seconds to give the Indians the 28-21 victory. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would go to 9-0 and advance to the New York State Class B Playoffs against Malone. The #1 Peru Indians would meet up with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles in New York State Section 7 Championship at Ausable Valley. Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) would step in front of Peru's Galloway (10) and jump up for the interception. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in Week 7 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Indians offense would be in form as they would take the 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as they would extend the lead to 29-0. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and get the 51-0 win. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would finish off the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs would finish at 2-5. Gallery
