Plattsburgh State's Annie Katonka (47) takes down the wing and fires on the net for the shot and one goal on the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celeberate after they score one of the seven goals on the night. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oswego State Lakers in Northeast Womens Hockey League action. The game would start of tight as the Cardinals would have the lone goal of the first period by Kaitlin Drew-Mead for the 1-0 lead. Although in the second period the Cardinals would explode for 6 goals in the period. As for goals in the period they would come from 5 different scores as Kaitlin Drew Mead would be the only one with multiple goals in the period and actual get the hat track. As for the other goal scorers it would be Sara Krauseneck, Wrin Mcardle, Maggie Blair, and Annie Katonka. The Lakers would get one in the third period to avoid the shutout. Although the Cardinals would get the 7-1 victory and go to 4-0 on the season while Lilla Nease would make ten stops to get her first college win. Gallery

#1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #4 Oswego State Lakers - NEWHL Tournament Semi-Finals - February 23rd 2019
Plattsburgh State's Kaitlin Drew-Mead (27) comes in on the breakaway and roofs the puck over the goalie for the score. The top seeded Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the 4 seeded Oswego State Lakers in the semi-finals of the NEWHL Hockey Tournament at the Field House in front of 500 people. The Cardinals would get the lone goal of the first period on the power play from Nicole Unsworth for the 1-0 lead after one. In the second period the Cardinals would get three goals in the period from Kaitlin Drew-Mead, Madison Walker and Mackenize Millen for the 4-1 lead after the second period. The Cardinals would strike again in the third period for three more goals from Courtney Moriarity, Annie Katonka, and Nicole Unsworth (second of the night) to secure the 7-1 victory. In the winning effort Kassi Abbott would make 17 saves as the Cardinals advance to the championship game of the NEWHL against either Potsdam State or Cortland State next weekend. Gallery

#3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Oswego State Lakers - NEWHL Women's Hockey - January 26th 2019
Plattsburgh State's Kassi Abbott (29) with the stick save sent to the corner as part of a 15 save night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Oswego State Lakers in NEWHL action. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game from Ashley Songin at 13:47 of the first period. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 at 3:05 of the second period on Nicole Unsworth. Then just under a minute later the Cardinals would go up 3-0 Abby Brush goal. The Cardinals would end there scoring at 14:17 of the second period on the Kaitlin Mead-Drew goal and secure the 4-0 victory. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #3 Oswego State Lakers - SUNYAC Men's Hockey - February 16th 2019
Plattsburgh State's Jimmy Poreda (29) with the pad save for one of his 31 saves on the night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would end there regular season against arch rival #3 Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC action. The Cardinals would get the opening goal of the game at the 7:59 mark of the first period from Christian Difelice. The Cardinals would waste no time make it 2-0 just 36 seconds later on Ryan Kuhn's goal. The game would remain there all the way til the third period when the Lakers would score at the 9:38 nark. From there the Cardinals would fight to keep the one goal lead and get the 2-1 victory. In the winning effort Jimmy Poreda would make 32 saves as the Cardinals finish the season at 12-11-2. Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Oswego State Lakers - SUNYAC Baseball - April 22nd 2018
Plattsburgh State's Anthony Maag (18 with the base hit back up the middle on the fastball as part of a 2-4 day. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #21 Oswego State Lakers in there final SUNYAC home game of the season. The Cardinals would do there best to keep the game close expect for a 5 run second and a 4 run eight. With that being said the Cardinals would fall to the Lakers by a score of 11-2. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 8-21 on the season. The Cardinals will take back to the field April 24th with a doubleheader against St. Michael's. Gallery
