The Malone Huskies would open there Section X regular season against the Potsdam Sandstoners as both teams were looking to get off to a good start. The Huskies and Sandstoners would plat tight through the first quarter and the Huskies would hold a 15-10 after the quarter. In the second quarter, the Huskies would start out on an 8-0 and take that to a 27-17 lead at the break. In the third quarter, the Sandstoners would do there best to stat close but the Huskies would extend the lead to 38-26. In the fourth quarter, the Huskies athletes would just be too much for the Sandstoners and take the 55-35 victory. In the winning effort, Jon Dunleavy would lead the way with 15 points. With the win, the Huskies go to 3-0 on the early season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Devin Barnes (33) crashes into the defender for the basket for two of eight points on the night. The start of a new basketball season would bring a new start to Chateaugay basketball as Mike Martin would start his tender as the boys head basketball coach. The season would start as it always does with the Bobcat Shootout in Ellenburg as they would take on the St. Lawerence Larries. The Bulldogs would show there newest as they would trail 20-15 after the 1st quarter. Then in the second quarter, they start to hit there groove as they would take a 36-35 lead at the break. The third quarter would be very even as the Larries would take the 48-47 lead into the fourth. In that fourth quarter though the Bulldogs would outscore the Larries 14-7 to get the 62-54 win. In that winning effort, Noah Bowes would lead all scorers with 33 points and the Bulldogs start the season at 1-0 after a very physical contest. Gallery.

Arch Rivals the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets in the last game of the season with the East Division crown on the line. The game would be a rough and tumble hard-fought game throughout that would never get bigger than a ten-point difference. The game would be tied at 11 after the first and 21 at the break. before the Yellow Jackets would prevail with the 46-44 victory. With the Yellow Jackets win them and the Bulldogs would be crowned co-east champs. The Bulldogs finish the season at 17-1 overall and 11-1 in the division. Leading the way would be Michael Boyea with 20 points. Gallery
