Plattsburgh State's Kassi Abbott (29) with the pad save on the close-range shot as part of her 28 save shutout night. It would be a rematch of the last year's national championship as the #2 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host #4 Adrian Bulldogs in the semi-finals of the UNO Classic. In a game that would live up to all the hype, it would be the defenses that would be on display. The lone goal of the game would come from Courtney Moriarty on a scramble play in front of the net with seven seconds left in the first period. That would be all the Cardinals would need as they hold on for the 1-0 victory behind 28 saves from Kassi Abbott. As the Cardinals go to 6-1 on the season and will face the Elmira Soaring Eagles in the finals of the UNO Classic. Gallery
