The Malone Huskies team celeberates as they recieve there throphy for winning the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be the Malone Huskies hosting the Potsdam Sandstoners in the Northern Football Conference Class A Championship. It would be a close game through out the first half as both teams would trade scores back and forth with the Huskies taking at 27-20 lead into the break. Although when the second half would start the Huskies would show there dominance as they would score four times in the third quarter to end up getting the 48-20 victory. In the winning effort John Picarco would have a three touchdown day. With the win the Malone Huskies advance to the state playoffs against Brunt Hill next weekend at Stillwater High School.Gallery

Malone Huskies Megan Taverina battles with the Canton Golden Bear midfielder along the sidelines. As the Malone Huskies would go onto defeat the Canton Golden Bears 1-0 on an own goal late in the first half. With the win, the Malone Huskies improve to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the central division.

Malone Huskies Corey Duquette (23) and Massena Red Raiders Zachary Fregoe (16) feet get tangled while battling for the ball at midfield. It was a battle in Malone between the lone class A schools in a central division game. The Malone Huskies would get the 3-0 win and get there a first division of the season. In the winning effort, Aaron Sharlow would have two goals and Peter Laramere would get the other goal. With the win, the Malone Huskies improve to 3-5-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the division.

Saranac Chiefs Nate Bedell (81) jumps up and comes down with the catch in the endzone for the 2 point conversion. The Saranac Chiefs would welcome in the unbeaten Malone Huskies. The game would be tight throughout the first half with the Chiefs taking a 27-20 lead into the break. In the end, it would be the tale of two halves as in the second half would steamroll the Huskies and get the convincing 48-27 win and end Malone's unbeaten season. The Malone Huskies would only need 45 minutes to dispose of the Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets in straight sets (25-13, 25-12, 25-4). In the winning effort, Aaron Sharlow would get two goals on the night, and also scoring for the Huskies would be Dustin Hart, Nick Tatro, and Pavel Medved. Ben Honahan would stop six in the shutout effort. With the win, the Huskies improve to 2-5-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the division.
