Clinton County Fair - July 21st 2019

Alex Martin (77jr) and Randy Martin (77a) would go back to back as they battle not just for the overall with but for who is better in the house with Alex getting this round. It would be the return of the annual demolition derby at the Clinton County Fair with around 150 cars in attendance. The cars would range from stock 4, 6, and 8, cylinders and then you would have the modified 8 cylinders and ectreme truck division. There would be hard hitting throughout the night and the barriers would be up to the task and keep all cars in the track. When the smashing would stop you see some frimilar faces in the winner circle with Alex and Randy Martin taking 1 and 2 in the 6 cylinder division. As for the four cylinder division the win would go to Brandon Lamere and the Extreme trucks would see Brittany Woodside getting the victory. Gallery

Porier's True Value Enduro 125 Presented by Rene Repair - September 29th 2019

The 97 car hooks a root and flips over and gets serious hang time with a bunch of cars coming down including Jason McClatchie (70) and Brent Jarvis (32). It would be the annual Porier's True Value Enduro 125 presented by Rene Repair and this years edition would have 95 cars. With the 95 cars on the track when the race started you can imagine the first few laps would be interesting with much contact and many dead cars scattered around the track. The early race leader would Josh Laporte and would have the lead til midway through when he would make contact with on the dead cars. Inhering the lead would be Michael Wright and he would have the lead until the closing laps when a slower car would take him out. Taking over the lead and hanging on for the win would be Nick Heywood and Michael Wright would rally back for second place and finishing out the top three would be Cody Kilburn. With the end of this race will close out the 2019 season at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway.Gallery

Franklin County Fair Demolition Derby Night #2 - August 10th 2019

John Snyder (4) with the hard hit to the side of Justin Burgess (20b) that sends up and over during a four cylinder. It would be the second night of demolition derby action at the Franklin County Fair there would be around 120 cars in the pits from compact, 8 cylinder and truck and vans. Before the night would start though we would go back and honor the past with the first demolition derby hall of fame and there would be 13 members in the class. Once the derby got underway the smashing would be fierce from start to finish with a couple rollovers and few fires throughout the night. When the smashing would end on the night there would be three winners on the night Randy Martin in the 4 cylinder class, Jerry O'Connor in the truck class, and Chris Mossow in the 8 cylinder class.Gallery

Franklin County Fair Demolition Derby Night #1 - August 5th 2019

Bryona Snyder (14) slams into Heather Hayes (14) and then in turn heats Chelsey Marshall (21) who rides up on top of the car. It would be the opening night of the demolition derby at the Franklin County Fair with around 90 cars ranging from the 4 and 6 cylinders all the way up to the fire breathing 8 cylinders. There would be smashing and banging throughout the night with many hard hits. When the smashing would stop the winners of the night would be Chad King in the 8 cylinder class and Jerry O'Connor in the 4 cylinder class. They will be back at the smashing action this Saturday August 10th with the second night of derby action.Gallery

The 12 and 39 would go nose to nose for a crunching hit battling for position. It would be the T&B Metals Froggers Used Auto demolition derby at Airborne Park Speedway to finish of the season. There would be a total of 17 cars that would be compete for the 1,000 dollars. Seeing the number of cars it would be just one feature and the winner gets the cash. Gallery

Josh Baker (004) puts his car on top of the 17 car as they crunch each other. It would be the T&B Metals Froggers Used Auto demolition derby at Airborne Park Speedway to finish of the season. There would be a total of 17 cars that would be competing for 1,000 dollars. Seeing the number of cars it would be just one feature and the winner gets the cash.

Michael Ayer (69) tbones the green car as it spins sideways entering the corner and almost gets put on the lid. It would be the season finale at Airborne Park Speedway and as in years past, they would end with the enduro. This year there would be 98 cars that would take part in the event. It would be on a very dry track that would see a lot of dust making people vision difficult out there. Richie Turner the winner on the day or so it seemed took the lead around lap 100 and would cross the line as the winner. Although the victory would be short-lived cause a tire issue would cost him the win during tech. The winner of the event would eventually be Trevor Jaques.

Gouverneur Spring Derby - St. Lawrence Fairgrounds - May 6th 2018

The (8) would put crunching hit on the (51) that would get under the car and it would be lifted off the ground. It would be the annual spring demolition derby at the St Lawrence County Fairgrounds in Gouverneur. There would be around 40 cars for the afternoon of smashing and crunching. When it was all said and done the winner would be Chris Ames and he would take home a $750 check for the win and a spot in the feature at the derby during the fair in August. Gallery
