Plattsburgh State's Spencer Finney (31) throws out the pad to make the pad save one of his 19 saves on the night. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host fellow SUNYAC foe Cortland State Red Dragons. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at 6:59 of the first period on Rich Botting's goal. Then about 90 seconds later the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Connor Toomey's goal. Then to close out the period at the 16:59 mark the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on Michael Cassidy's goal. Then just seven seconds into the second period the Cardinals would make it 4-0 on Kyle Hall's shorthanded goal. Then at the 2:19 mark of the second period, Patrick Hermans would make it 5-0. The game would stay there till the 1:38 mark of the third period when Luke Baleshta would make it 6-0. Then finally at the 16:46 mark of the period, Cortland State would get on the board with Nick Zappia's goal. Then in the closing seconds of the game, Alex Brenton would score for the Cardinals to secure the 7-1 win. Plattsburgh State's Xavier Thomas (15) goes up and around the defender for the basket as part of a fourteen-point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oneonta State Red Dragons in SUNYAC conference play. It would be a hotly contested game through with neither team getting more than a five-point lead. The Red Dragons would have the slim 41-37 lead-in after the first. In the second half, the Cardinals would make up the difference winning the half 47-43 to force overtime tied at 84. In the overtime, the Red Dragons would hit a 2 pointer with 2.4 seconds left to win it 94-92. In the losing effort, Reggie Williams would lead the win with 24 points as the Cardinals fall to 5-2 on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Mathieu Cadieux (34) with the stick save as part of a 13 save night. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC play. The Cardinals would take the quick 1-0 lead on Kevin Emerling's goal just 49 seconds into the game. The Cardinals would come right back and score again just 50 seconds later to make it 2-0 on Alex Jensen's goal. The Cardinals would continue to strike as they would make it 3-0 just 90 seconds later on Kevin Emerling's second of the night. The Red Dragon's would get into the act at 6:58 of the first on Nick Zappia's goal to make it 3-1. In the second period, the Cardinals would put the game out of reach as they would light the lamp four times to make it 7-1. Getting the goals for the Cardinals would be Ryan Franan, Alex Brenton, Kevin Emerling (a third of the night), and Michael Cassidy. In the third period just to put the icing on the cake they would add four more goals to secure the 11-1 win. The #4 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in SUNYAC play. The Cardinals would take the quick 1-0 lead on Kevin Emerling's goal just 49 seconds into the game. The Cardinals would come right back and score again just 50 seconds later to make it 2-0 on Alex Jensen's goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons in ECAC-West action going for the clean sweep. The Cardinals would pick up right where they left off last night as they would light six times in the first period. For the six goals in the period, there would be five different goal scores lighting the lamp would be Allison Era (twice), Chelsea VanGalahan, Bridget Bailsey, Jordan Caldwell, and Kathleen Turk. When the teams came back for the second period there would be no let-up in the Cardinals as they would get four more goals for 10-0 lead. The goal scores would be Giovanna Sense, Chelsea VanGalahan twice to complete the hat trick, and Maggie Kolton. The Red Dragons would get a goal in the third period to avoid the shutout. Plattsburgh State's Brendan Hickey (30) battles with Cortland State's Pat Baldwin (42) for the early control. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host fellow SUNYAC team and number 1 team in the country Cortland State Red Dragons in conference action. The Red Dragons would jump out to the quick 5-1 lead after the first quarter with the lone Cardinals goal from Joey Kramer. In the second quarter the Cardinals would do there best to get back in it and tie the Red Dragons at 8 at the break. Scoring for the Cardinals in the second quarter would be Joey Kramer (twice), Tom Duggan, Tim Lawerence (twice), Nick Travers and Brett McClelland. The game would remain tied at 10 as the teams went into the fourth scoring for the Cardinals were Tom Duggan and Tim Lawerence. In the fourth quarter the Red Dragons would prove to be to much as theu would outscore the Cardinals 5-2 and get the 15-12 win. For the Cardinals Joey Kramer and Brendan Damn would get goals in the fourth. In the losing effort Gordie Gehring would stop twelve shots as the Cardinals fall to 8-2 on the season. Gallery
