Seton Catholic's Adrian Pearl (12) breaks down the field and beats the Boquet Valley netminder with the low quick shot. It would be a matchup inside the Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference as the Seton Catholic Knights would host the Boquet Valley Griffins in Section VII action. The game would be tight through the first half as each team would send a shot of the post that could have gave them the lead. Although when the teams came out for the second half the Griffins would get the opening goal as Braden Liberi would beat the Knights goalie. The Knights would waste little time getting the equalizer as Aiden Pearl would break down the field and beat the goalie in the 48th minute. The game would remain there through the rest of regulation and the teams would head to overtime. In that overtime period Braden Liberi would strike again off a rebound in the 95th minute to get the 2-1 victory.
