Saranac's Mason Martin (42) extends the ball out and over the line for the touchdown. The #2 Saranac Chiefs would host the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference Class C Semi-finals. These two evenly matched teams would be scoreless until the second quarter when Patriots Jimmy Kelly would score to make it 7-0 Patriots. The game would stay there until 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter when Chiefs Mason Martin would score and they would get the two-point conversion and take an 8-7 lead. Then on the ensuing Patriots drive two questionable calls would lead to the Patriot's good field position and Jimmy Kelly would score from the one-yard line with 25 seconds left on the clock to give the Patriots 14-8 victory. In the winning effort, the Patriots advance to next week's championship game against Saranac Lake Chiefs while the Saranac Chiefs season comes to end at 2-6. Gallery

The Patriots would take the 6-0 lead after the first quarter and hold on till late in the second quarter when the Chiefs would get on the board with a Johnny Devins touchdown to tie it at 6 at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second the Patriots would come to play and score three scores to make it 28-6. In the fourth quarter, the teams would trade sores including the big catch in the endzone by Saranac's Brandon Velie for the score as he rips it from the defender's hand. In the end, though the Patriots would get the 34-12 victory and finish the undefeated season at 8-0 while the Chiefs finish at 0-8. Gallery

The Saranac Chiefs (JV) would host the Ausable Valley Patriots (JV) in the last JV game of the season. The Patriots would take the 6-0 lead after the first quarter and hold on till late in the second quarter when the Chiefs would get on the board with a Johnny Devins touchdown to tie it at 6 at halftime. The Saranac Chiefs would travel down to Clintonville and take on the AU Sable Valley Patriots in week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 7-0 at 7:07 of the first quarter on Dylan Clay's block punt recovered in the endzone for the touchdown. Then just about two minutes later the Chiefs would extend the lead to 14-0 on Zack Martin's 4 yard run. Then three minutes into the second quarter Zack Martin would score again 1 yard out and take the 22-0 lead headed into the half. Then in the third quarter Caiden Goodman would score on the 15 yard reception to make it 29-0 at 9:03 of third. Then in the closing seconds of the third Hunter Church would score from three yards out to make it 36-0. Then in the opening minute of the fourth quarter Skinadar would put the Patriots on the board with the 6 yard touchdown reception to make it 36-7. Then with under 6 minutes left in the game Hunter Church would get his second touchdown of the night on a 14 yard run to make it 43-7. From there on the Chiefs would hold on for the 43-7 victory. In the winning effort, Zack Martin would run for 123 yards and 2 scores as the Chiefs get there first win of the season and go to 1-4 on the season while the Patriots fall to 1-4 on the season. Chateaugay's Kylie Hanley (35) with tip st the net past Au Sable Valley blocker at the net. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would return to Saranac for the Saranac Volleyball Tournament. There would be a total of nine teams at the tournament. The nine teams at the tournament would be Chateaugay, Saranac, Lake Placid, Ogdensburg, Plattsburgh, Northern Adirondack, Au Sable Valley, and Peru. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would go 13-3 only losing single games Peru, Saranac, and Ogdensburg. With the 13-3 record, the Bulldogs would finish second on the day behind the winners the Peru Indians. The Plattsburgh Hornets pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2014 Section VII Class B Champions. The #1 Plattsburgh Hornets would play the #2 Ausable Valley Patriots at SUNY Plattsburgh. The Hornets would jump out to a big lead at 25-6 lead after one. The Patriots would battle back in the second and win the quarter 19-10 the Hornets would still lead 35-25 at the break. In the third, the Patriots would keep fighting back and win the quarter 19-11 and cut into the deficit at 45-44. In the fourth fatigue would set in on the Patriots as the Hornets win the quarter 20-12 and secure the 66-56 win. In the winning effort, Garrett Fardy would lead the way with 30 points as the Hornets advance to the New York State Playoffs. Gallery.

The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Ausable Valley Patriots in the final week of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Eagles would have a 14-0 lead after the first quarter on two scores from Justin Stevens one rushing and the other on a punt return. The Patriots would try to keep it close when Scott Douglas would score on a 15-yard reception at 1:29 in. The Eagles would answer right back with Justin Stevens's third touchdown on the day at 5:31 to make it 21-6. The Eagles would extend the lead to 28-6 on Kyle Dupingey on a 35-yard touchdown. With ten seconds left in the half, Jacob Remchuk would scramble from 9 yards out to make it 35-6 at the break. Just 1:47 into the second half it would be more of the same as Quenton Barber would score a 65-yard punt return to make it 42-6. Then at the 6-minute mark of third Devin Fessette would take it up the middle from 5 yards out for the score to make it 48-6. Then just as the fourth quarter would start the Eagles would strike one last time this time from Kyle Dupingey for the 55-6 victory. With the win, the Eagles would finish the season at 4-3 while Patriots fall to 1-6.
