It would be the start of the last weekend of the regular season as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in a pair of games in NEWHL action. The game would start off close as the teams would be felling each other out and the lone goal of the first period as IVY Boric would score at the 15:17 mark. In the second period, the Cardinals would start to pull away as they would get three goals in the period from Taylor Whitney and Annie Katonka (twice) and take a 4-0 lead into the third period. In the third period, the dam would break and the Cardinals would flood the net with five goals from Sara Krauseneck, Mattie Norton, Taylor Whitney (twice and third of the night), and Riley Calhoun to secure the 9-0 win.
