In the second period, it would be more of the same as they would score three more from Courtney Moriarty, Mackenize Millen and Kayla Meneghain for the 6-0 lead. In the third period the Cardinals would back off the throttle and cruise to the 6-0 victory. In the winning effort, Brooke Wolejko would 23 saves for the shutout. The Cardinals would get the lone goal of the first period from Abby Brush at the 9:30 mark. In the second period, the Cardinals would score three times from Kayla Menneghain, Courtney Moriarty and Meghan Krause along with a lone Bears goal for a 4-1 Cardinals lead after the second period. In the third period, the Cardinals would add two more from Melissa Sheeran and Mackenzie Millen to secure the 6-1 victory.
