Plattsburgh State's Noah Batis (17) takes the shot on net from a knee. It would be a rivalry game of the season as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host #4 Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC play. The Lakers would get the opening goal of the game at 8:20 of the first period from Michael Gillespie. The game would stay there until the 7:48 mark of the second period when the Lakers would score on the power play thanks to Mitch Emerson to make it 2-0. Then at the 15:38 mark, the Lakers would score twice in 23 seconds from Joseph Molinaro and Mitch Herlihey to make it 4-0. The Lakers would add another one at 3:44 of the third period to make it 5-0 from Cameron Berry. Then the Cardinals would do there best to make a game of it as Phillip Middleton would make it 5-1 at 9:18 of the third period. Then at 13:13 Jesse Neher would strike to make it a 5-2 game.
