It would be defensive first half with the Huskies having the low scoring 23-20 lead at the break. In the second half, the Peru offense would come alive and be too much the Huskies to deal with as the Indians win the half 37-23. With the half going to the Indians by such a big margin they would get the come from behind win 57-46. In the losing effort for the Huskies Connor Gallager would lead the team with 12 points. The Saranac Chiefs would meet up with the Brushton-Moira Panthers at the Plattsburgh State Field House as part of the Section 7/10 Challenge. It a game that would tight throughout with neither team seeing a more than ten-point lead. The Saranac Chiefs would have a 29-21 lead at the break thanks to a late half run. In the second half, the teams would play to a draw at 34 a piece that would end up giving the Saranac Chiefs the 63-55 victory. In the winning effort, Austin Myers would lead the way with 21 points. Plattsburgh Hornets Vs #2 Ogdensburg Blue Devils March 8 2014

Plattsburgh's Garrett Frady (2) with the mid-range jumper over the defender for the score. The Plattsburgh Hornets would play the #2 Ogdensburg Blue Devils at the Plattsburgh State Field House in the quarterfinals. The game would start out close as the Blue Devils would have a 27-22 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Blue Devils would start to pull away as they had a 31-8 quarter and took the 58-30 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter it would be more of the same the Blue Devils win the quarter 25-8 and take an 83-38 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Blue Devils would call off the attack and the Hornets would win the quarter 11-9. Although it would not nearly be enough as the Blue Devils get the 92-49 win. With the lose the Hornets season comes to an end at 15-5. Gallery.

The Vikings would jump out quickly and have a 14-4 lead after the 1st quarter. The second quarter would be more of the same the Vikings win the quarter 14-9 and have a 28-13 lead at halftime. When the teams came back for the second half the Scots would regroup although the third would be a tie at ten giving the Vikings the 38-23 lead into the fourth. In the fourth Scots would do there best to cut into the Vikings lead but a 15-10 quarter would not be enough as the Vikings get the 58-48 win. With the win the Vikings go to 20-2 and head to the quarterfinals Saturday against Madrid-Waddington at SUNY Canton. Gallery
