Justin Bonsignore (21) would beat out the hard-charging Tommy Barrett (9) that was looking for a couple of laps to get the win. It would be championship day at Airborne Park Speedway. It would be an action-packed day of racing with Airborne's Sportsman Modifieds, Renegades, Mini-Modifieds, and Late Models along with the Northern Modified Challenge Series and the Modified Racing Series. The Sportsman Modified and Modified Series would be decided to come to the checkered with Jayson Criss winning the Sportsman Modified and Justin Bonsignore winning the Modified Series event. Also with it being championship day Nick Heywood, Robert Gordon, Bucko Branham, and Steven Bressette along with Leon Gonyo would be named to 2014 track champions. Gallery

Rob Snies (3), Jay LaGrave (79), and Tyler Bressette (8)would take it three-wide comings off of turn two. It would be the Huntley Trucking/Liquor and Wine Warehouse Run Wild Night at Airborne Park Speedway where the 358 Modified could add wings and anything else they wanted. Also as a special attraction, there would be Spectator Races and an Endro Race. As for the main races on the card Pete Blaney would win the Mini-Modifieds, Josh Terry would get a very emotional Renegade victory, Nick Heywood would win the Sportsman Modified and Leon Gonyo wins the 358 Modifieds. There would lot tight racing throughout the night and few wrecks with the biggest one being Jessey Mueller meeting the turn one wall rather rudely. All the feature races would see the second place chasing down the leader and coming up just short on getting the victory. Next weekend will be the place points event for the season and Champions will be crowned. Gallery

NASCAR Whelen All American ESPN 101./Whelen Night Airborne Park Speedway July 12th 2014

Jay Lagrave (79), CJ Lavair (4), Michael Wright (86), Steven Bressette (14), and Scott Richner are all battle for track position in the middle of the turn. It would be week 10 of racing at Airborne Park Speedway and it would be the ESPN 101.3 Twin 25's brought to by Whelen. The four divisions that would be racing on that night would be the 358 Modifieds, Late Models, Renegades, and Mini Modifieds. The 358 Modified would have a good feature race with Jessey Mueller and Leon Gonyo battling it out for the top spot with the eventual win going to Jessey Mueller. The Late Models would have two features on the night as they were testing for the big International 200 next week with wins going to Bobby Therien and Brandon Atkins. In the renegades feature Brent Jarvis and Jim McKineen battling for the top for most of the race until they would slip up and Shawn Duquette would slide underneath for the win. Then in the mini-modified feature, they would have trouble getting going with a few wrecks in the first 5 laps once they would settle down the eventual win going to CJ Lavair. Tylor Terry(44), Shawn Duquette (18), and Ryan Boutin (28) fighting for restating on the bottom of turn one as they enter. We would be back for another action pack night of racing as part of week nine at Airborne Park Speedway. There would be some great racing throughout the night in the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Renegades, and Mini-Modifieds. Also on hand for the evening would be fireworks after the racing and Jamie Lee Thurston. When it was all said and done on the night Jessey Mueller would win the 358 Modifieds, Mark Lamberton Sportsman Modifieds, Robert Gordon Renegades, and Harold LaVair in the Mini-Modifieds. Next week on tap at Airborne Park Speedway would be the 358 Modifieds, Renegades, Mini-Modifieds, and twin races for the Late Models.

Jason Bruno (66) and Tyson Drown (6) would get tangled up, in turn, four with Drown coming out on the worse end. It would be week seven at Airborne Park Speedway and it would feature the 98.9 WOKO Renegade 100. In the undercard for the evening, Scott Richner would win the Mini-Modified, Jason Durgan would chase Codie Aubin in the closing laps of the Sportsman Modified feature. Then in the Sportsman, Modified/Big Block Modified Challenge Nick Heywood would lead wire to wire. Then it would be time for the Renegade 100 after the intros the race would get off to a slow start with three cautions in a third of the race. Once things would calm down Robert Gordon and Shawn Duquette would do battle at the top with Robert Gordon getting the eventual win.

Dale O'Neill (16) Rob Snies (3) and Jay LaGrave (79) take it three-wide and tight to the bottom of turn one during the Mini-Modified feature. It would be week 6 at the Airborne Park Speedway and it would be brought to you by Plattsburgh Ford, UniFirst, and Loremans. There would be five different divisions in action with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Late Models, Mini-Modifieds, and the new Strictly 6's. There would be some tight racing throughout the night with only a couple of accidents on the night and both in the Sportsman Modified feature. The winners on the night would be Patrice McGill (358 Modifieds), Nick Sweet (Late Models twice), Nick Heywood (Sportsman Modified), Scott Richner (Mini-Modified) and Shawn Founation would win the first Strictly 6's. Next week we will be back in action with the 98.9 WOKO Renegade 100.

Jamey Bresette (03) and Andrew Bourdeau (08) side by side and tight through turn 1 and 2 in the Sportsman Modified Feature. It would be Dig Safety NY and Aaron's night at Airborne Park Speedway. The day would start off good with some good battles and clean racing. Then we would get to the main event of the evening the Sportsman Modified 100. In that race we would have two separate crashes both requiring red flags, in the end, Travis Bruno would get the win for his second of the season. In the other races, Chris LaVair would win the mini-modifieds, Kris Vernold first career 358 modified win, Lance Rabtoy wins Renegades. Next week it will be the Airborne Park Speedway Late Model Twin 25's along with all other divisions.

Ryan Boutin (28) on the bottom Jon Boutin (23) in the middle and Jim McKiernan (55) on the top go three-wide through 1 and 2 Jon Boutin would be the eventual winner. Tonight at Airborne Park Speedway it would be Haun Welding Airborne History night. The division that would be in action would be the 358 Modified, Renegades, Mini-Modified along with there newest division the Late Models in a pair of 20 laps feature. The racing would be green throughout most of the night with few cautions on the day but that didn't stop the action from heating up as there battles throughout the field in all divisions. The winners on the night would be Todd Stone in the 358 Modified, John Boutin Renegades, Dave O'Neil (2nd of the season) Mini-Modified, Late Models Bucko Branham and Josh Masterson.

There would be some tight racing in the turn 1 with Robert Gordon (H20) Jamey Begor (19), Josh Terry (43), and Ryan Boutin (28) and Jim Mckieman (55) on the top all fighting for real estate. It would be Military Appreciation Night at Airborne Park Speedway and racing would be the Sportsman Modifieds, Renegades, Mini-Modifieds, and the Sportsman and 358 Modified Challenge race. Although the number of divisions would be low there would be great action out on the track with great racing especially in the Renegade and Sportsman Modified features both of them would see late race passes for the win. The winners on the night would be Mark Lamberton (Sportsman Modifieds), Jamey Begor 2nd of the season (Renegades), Duchaine (Mini-Modifieds), and Jamey Mueller 2nd of the Season (Modified Challenge). With Jamey Begor's win tonight the points in the Renegade division have really tightened up between the top 3.

Jason Durgan (17) comes and touches the bumper of Mark Lamberton (44) and sends Lamberton to the wall in the closing laps of Sportsmen Modified feature and Jason Durgan would come around and get checkered. It would be the second weekend of racing at Airborne Park Speedway and along with the regular racing divisions the American Canadian Tour would be in town for a 100 lapper. The ACT tour race would be the race of the night with Ray Parent win it by a nose a the strip on a late restart. In other racing action, the regular divisions some drivers had a hard getting out of the heat races as there were a few wrecks. The other feature winners on the night would be Jason Durgan in Sportsmen Modifieds, Tylor Terry in the Renegades, and Steven Bessette in the Mini-Modifieds. Next weekend there will be more racing action at the track as part of Military Appreciation Night with the Renegades, Sportsmen Modifieds, and Strictly Six in action.
