The Icemen would waste little time in a taking the 1-0 lead at the three minute mark of the first period from Colby Munson. The game would stay there till 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period, Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two-goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period, it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period, the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29, the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power-play goal to make it 7-2. Then just to finish it off Icemen's Zeb Brown would get his second of the night to secure the 8-2 victory. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at 6:59 of the first period on Rich Botting's goal. Then about 90 seconds later the Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 on Connor Toomey's goal. Then to close out the period at the 16:59 mark the Cardinals would make it 3-0 on Michael Cassidy's goal. Then just seven seconds into the second period the Cardinals would make it 4-0 on Kyle Hall's shorthanded goal. Then at the 2:19 mark of the second period, Patrick Hermans would make it 5-0. The game would stay there till the 1:38 mark of the third period when Luke Baleshta would make it 6-0. Then finally at the 16:46 mark of the period, Cortland State would get on the board with Nick Zappia's goal. Then in the closing seconds of the game, Alex Brenton would score for the Cardinals to secure the 7-1 win. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Oneonta State Red Dragons in SUNYAC conference play. It would be a hotly contested game through with neither team getting more than a five-point lead. The Red Dragons would have the slim 41-37 lead-in after the first. In the second half, the Cardinals would make up the difference winning the half 47-43 to force overtime tied at 84. In the overtime, the Red Dragons would hit a 2 pointer with 2.4 seconds left to win it 94-92. In the second half, the offensive would come alive and win the half 37-29. With the Cardinals winning the second they would secure the 62-50 victory. The Lakers would get the opening goal of the game at 12:41 of the first period from Chris Waterstreet to make it 1-0. The game would remain there till the 2:18 mark of the second period when the Lakers would extend there lead to 2-0 on Chris Raguseo's goal. Then the Cardinals would get on the board at 12:21 mark of the third period on Mark Constantine's goal to make it 2-1 to make it a game down the stretch. Then with under 5 minutes left in the game Lakers' Bobby Gretsakis would score on the power play to put the game away for the Lakers at 3-1. Chateaugay's Caitlin Miller (21) and Northern Adirondack center jump for the opening tip as Bulldogs Caitlin Miller wins the tip. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would travel out of Section X to take on Section 7 for the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. It would be a defensive battle throughout and low scoring. In a low scoring first quarter, the Bulldogs would take the slim 8-6 lead. In the second quarter, the Bobcats would be in complete control and win the quarter 20-5 and take the 26-13 lead into the intermission. In the third quarter, it would be very low scoring and the Bulldogs would win the quarter 4-2 and the Bobcats would still have the 28-17 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would do there best to make a game by winning 12-8. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Bobcats would get the 36-29 win.
