Plattsburgh State's Giovanna Senese (20) slides in front of the Utica goalie trying to slide it under the goalie's pads. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Utica Pioneers in ECAC-West women's hockey. The Cardinals get off to a quick start when Teal Gove would score just 18 seconds in to make it 1-0 Cardinals. The Pioneers would answer back at 8:18 of the first when Brittany Dellechiaie scores to tie the game at 1. Then just 1:38 into the second period the Pioneers would take a 2-1 lead on Mary Fusco's power-play goal. The Pioneers would take a 3-1 lead at 3:58 of the second period when Louise Steele Norton scores. That is where the game would remain until the 7:58 of the third period when the Cardinals would cut the deficit to one on Chelsea VanGlahan's goal. Then with 4:30 left in the game, Shannon Stewart would tie the game up for the Cardinals at three. The teams would go to the overtime and nothing would be resolved and the times would get a draw. With the draw, Sydney Aveson would stop 13 of 16 shots as the Cardinals go to 19-0-2. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's goal would be scored by Allison Era to give the Cardinals the 1-0 lead in the first minute. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host ECAC-West conference foe Elmira Soaring Eagles The game would be very physical at times as both teams were looking for the upper hand in the conference standings. The Cardinals would get the early lead on Allison Era's goal in the first minute of the game. The Cardinals would take the 2-0 lead on Andrea Zeismann's power-play goal at the ten-minute mark of the first. Then in the last 1:30 of the period, Elmira would get on the broad with Sam Curk's goal to make it 2-1 Cardinals after the first period. That is where the game would remain until Alyssa Parke would score at the 11:15 mark of the second period to make it 3-1 after the second period. Then in the third period, the Cardinals would get one more goal this time from Shannon Stewart with 3:10 left in the game. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would stop 21 of 22 shots as the Cardinals stay undefeated on the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Emma Rutherford (26) takes the shot to the high side. It would be a match up of two of the top 5 teams in the nation. As the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #5 Norwich Cadets in non-conference action. The Cadets would take the early lead on Kayla Parson's power play goal at 5:46 of the first period. That is where the game would remain until the 10 minute mark of the second periods when the Cadets would connect on Tori Charron goal to make it 2-0 Cadets. Then with just 11 seconds remaining in the 2nd periods the Cardinals would get on the board with Shannon Stewarts power play goal. Then just a minute and half into the third period the Cardinals would tie it up on Teal Groves goal to make it 2-2. Then in the 13th minute of the third the Cardinals would take the lead on Ali Vakos goal to make it 3-2. Then just over a minute later the Cardinals would strike again on Mia Favretto's goal to close out the Cadets and take the 4-2 win. In the winning effort Sydney Aveson would stop 14 of 16 shots.
