Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) shields herself from the defender and frees and find the open girl at the top of the key. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in non league action. The game would see the Bulldogs pretty much control the game until the whole game until the fourth quarter when the Sandstoners would step up there full court defense. The Bulldogs would have the slim 9-6 lead after the first quarter. The Bulldogs would keep up the tempo as they would have a 23-17 lead at the break as they would win the quarter 14-11. Then when the teams came back for the third quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 13-7 and take a 36-24 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth the Sandstoners would step up there full court defense and force bulldogs into many turnovers and the Sandstoners would win the 17-11 but the Bulldogs would hold on to the 47-41 victory. In the winning effort Courtney Boyea and Mikalya Fleury would lead the way ten points each for the Bulldogs as the go to 6-1 on the season. Gallery

Northern Adirondack Conference Girl's Basketball Malone Huskies Vs Potsdam Sandstoners January 10 2013

Malone's Morgan Fountain (3) stop the drive to the hoop and pulls up for the short jumper over the Potsdam defender.The Malone Huskies would host the Potsdam Sandstoners in Section X Central Division action. The game would be tight through the first quarter before the Huskies would cruise to a 63-35 win. The Huskies would have the slim 12-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Huskies would out score them 11-7 and take the 23-16 lead at the break. Then in the third quarter the Huskies would start to pull away as they would win the quarter 16-11 to take the 39-27 lead into the fourth. Then in the fourth the Huskies would step up the tempo and win the quarter 24-8 and get the 63-35. In the winning effort Malone's Rachael Lamica would lead all scores with 19 points as the Huskies go to 7-3 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Courtney Boyea (15) scrambles foe the loose ball at the top of the arc and gets it before Salmon River's Abby Kelly (5) can get it. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Salmon River Shamrocks in section ten action. The game would get very physical at times as both teams would be on edge with the rivalry. The game would be tied at nine after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bulldogs would win it by the slightest margin 12-10 and take a 21-19 lead into the break. As the teams would come out for the second half the Shamrocks would win the third quarter 16-12 and have the 35-33 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Shamrocks would pull away as they would win the quarter 17-9 and get the 52-43 victory. In the losing effort Courtney Boyea would lead the Bulldogs with 17 points as the Bulldogs fall to 6-1 on the season. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in Section X East Division play on Senoir Night in Chateaugay. The Bulldogs would strom there way out in the first quarter to 21-4 lead. Then in the second quarter it would be much of the same as they would take a 34-7 lead into the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would cruise to a 51-12 victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs Courtney Boyea would have 19 points. Coach Chris Reynolds would like to thank all of his senoirs for there time and service on the teams. With the win the Bulldogs would go to 14-2 on the season. Gallery

NYSPHSAA Girl's Basketball Malone Huskies Vs Ausable Valley Patriots February 14 2013

Malone's Moegan Fountain drives past Ausable Valley's Talor Saltus (5) and goes to the hoop for the lay up basket for two of her eight points on the night. The Malone Huskies would host the Ausable Valley Patriots in non league action as the Huskies finish off the regular season. The game would be a defensive battle through out with both teams holding the other down. The Patroits would have the 14-8 lead after the first quarter. The Huskies would do there best to get in the game and a 20-18 lead at the break thanks to a 12-4 second quarter. Then when the teams returned for the third quarter it would stay tight as the Patroits would win the quarter 15-14 but the Huskies would still have the 34-33 lead. In the fourth quarter the Patroits defense would really step up as they would hold the Huskies to three points and win the quarter 10-3 to take the 43-37 victory. Malone's Rachel Lamica would lead all scorers with 12 points as the huskies fall to 10-7 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Abby Barnes (24) drives by the defender and continues onto the hoop for the basket. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host their neighbors the Northern Adirondack Bobcats in non-league action. The game would start off tight actually as tight as it could get as they would be tied at 10 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bulldogs would pull ahead barely as they would have 25-22 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half the Bobcats defense would step in the third quarter as the Bobcats would outscore the Bulldogs 17-5 and take the 39-30 lead after three. The Bulldogs would try there best in the fourth to get back in the game but their efforts would come up short and they would fall 48-39 to the Bobcats. Even with the Bulldogs lose Danielle Charland and Abby Barnes would each have 11 points as they fall to 0-1. Gallery

Chateaugay's Madison Green (24) dives on the ball on the court to secure the Bulldogs possession. It would be the start of the JV season as the Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The Bulldogs would take the early 16-6 lead after the first quarter and not look back. The Bulldogs would extend there lead to 26-15 at the intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would win the quarter making it 40-25. Then in the fourth quarter the Bulldogs would just need to cruise as they would secure the 45-35 victory. In the winning effort Alica Cook would lead the way with 18 points as the Bulldogs go to 1-0 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Courtney Boyea (15) poses with her parents Steve and Anne Boyea with her creative ball to honor her career milestone of 1,000 points. She would become the 15th player in Chateaugay history and 6th girl to reach this accomplishment in school history. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Colton-Pierpont Colts in Section X East Division action. The Bulldogs would waste no time in getting the advantage as they would have a 16-2 lead after the first quarter. Then in the second quarter, they would outscore the Colts 9-3 to take the 25-5 lead into the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would outscore them 21-10 for the 46-15 win. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would lead the way with eleven points. With the Bulldogs go to 12-2 as the Colts fall to 4-12. Gallery

The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Lawerence Larries in Section X action. The Bulldogs would stellar defense throughout the game as they would get the 39-22 win. The Bulldogs would have the 11-6 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was very low scoring as the Bulldogs win it 8-5 and take a 19-11 lead into the locker room at the break. When the teams would return for the second half the defense would remain for both teams as the Bulldogs would win the half 20-11 for the 39-22 victory. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would lead the way with 15 points on the night as the Bulldogs go to 11-1 on the season. Gallery
